Nice catch, always enjoyed catching sea trout, never cared to eat them. Think it was the texture. I don't know, maybe I'll try again.

I agree. Though, I only had speckled trout once and redfish once. Redfish to me had a nice firm texture. The speckled trout had a mushy or oily texture, it reminded me of bluefish. Not bad, but not great.
