Thank you for your comment. It was my fault,, I should have looked at the small print. My sail was destroyed in a storm. I thought a sail would be covered for such an occurence, but no!. I received this email: . With regards to the damaged Genoa, we regret to advise you that the policy has the following exclusion: Section 1 5 You are also not covered for loss of or damage to: 5.1 the Vessel’s sails as a result of them being split by the wind or blown away whilst in use Unfortunately, it would appear that the loss of the sail is not covered.
