They’re not coming, if they were they’d be in the game. They probably wanted an exuberant amount of money, and 2k decided they couldn’t pay millions of dollars to get a tennis player in their game lol
Is this the full roster?! I understand not being able to afford Djokovic and Nadal for example, but I'm pretty sure they could've given a deeper experience by adding in a ton of smaller reputation players.
i wonder if like the players were asked if they wanted to be in the game, and wouldn’t receive any money compensation for it so they didn’t want in it.
Epic gameplay and stadia...but the player roster is a killer...Tiebreak will have 50+ licensed players, the good ole community with the rest of the players and solid gameplay by December 👌
@@bbbdalmacija3324 sooooo you want a game, but estetics over gameplay? Tiebreak is extremly glitchy. Its a sports game, the most realistic gameplay should win, not what "looks" good stuff.
Tiebreak Tennis could have every player ever, photo realism, and every tournament ever with a version for each single year and it would still be a bad game. The core bit is how it plays, and it plays terribly.
@@sjjapp mabye people can invest in tennis art or something, because nobody cares about the gameplay, just how the players look :P Just look at ea ufc, incredible visuals, but the gameplay sucks compared to real life. Gameplay wins in the end, grand slam tennis 2 had good grapics for 2012, but everybody played ts4
Why did I preorder this… it looks like an absolute top spin 4 clone with slightly improved graphics. I’ve waited so long for a new top spin game that I couldn’t help myself. You have barely tried, and it’s sad.
For this game to succeed you will HAVE to add more players really excited to play but not even having Andy Murray for the uk player base to be excited for is a shame hope you can license some big names so future updates can be exciting.
Not gonna lie. Was SUPER excited for this game.. But after watching this, I'm out. Looks bare bones Af. Career looks weak as hell. Not even Andy Murray ffs. Not enough players and there's no way you're gonna micro me into buying more. Gameplay looked good but this doesn't look enough imo for 2024. Do better. Sorry
I have been waiting for the next TopSpin game since forever! I believe I have mastered topspin 4. No guides, no crosshairs or whatever you call it, just plain tennis gameplay and it was so fun mastering the right timing, the best positioning and shot selection. Only thing was transition fron volley to baseline was wonky, especially when the opponent lobs, running back was inexistent. I hope they added this feature. I love the campagin mode. I actually made Venus Williams, and even tried her playstyle. So satisfying! Sad that I wasn’t able to save a photo of my Venus character cause I had a different phone back then. I’m so excited for this!

7 ATP players is a disgrace. Throw in fan favorites and lower ATP tier players or even challenger players to make this game interesting. Even tiebreak tennis (awful game) has a lot more players, even players like Paire and Kostyuk.
Buy the game and support the topspin franchise before making such demands.The mode that most players will explore is the career mode,it does not matter that 7 atp players are in the game.Gameplay is king!

I’m excited but why is there only like 25 players in the game, that’s ridiculous… so when we do career mode we have to play random ass AI players 🤦♂️ come on 2k.
@@darianh8966 Nadal for example already signed a deal with AO Tennis. Other players may be asking for royalties or fees to be in the game that are significantly beyond the budget. I am disappointed too but I understand the challenge. I think they could've been creative in including some more well known players that wouldn't charge huge fees from the past or near the end of their career like Berdych, Tipsarevic, Wawrinka, Roddick, David Ferrer, Theim, etc.
Aces and unforced errors seem non existent in this game. Hopefully they update that. I have yet to see an ace in all of the gameplay videos I have watched. And unforced errors I’m not sure If I’ve seen one either. And they are common in real life tennis.

Not to mention no line callers , well they are they but the umpire calls every noise. No community aspect. Weird grunts. Ball that moves like it as in the 70s .
Still waiting for private matches. What sort of game developers think "Yeah no one is gonna want to play with their friends, so let's not include private matches"?
Honestly the career mode looks dreadful. Looks like you have one or two tournaments per month. Looks like you start at 75 in the World and rankings is limited to 75 players. REALLY DREADFUL. Not to mention the limited roster. Overall very disappointing. The gameplay looks good...although could benefit from more player customization. Too similar to Top Spin 4...I don't care so much about the face of the players as long as they somewhat look similar. It's a repeat of a disappointing Top Spin 4 Career Mode.

They need to update Federer’s face. He is on the cover and looks off in the game. 2K should have whoever made The Rock 01’ for wwe 2k24 make Federer’s face for Topspin 2k25. Federer should be looking way more realistic and spot on. They did a great job with Osaka

Honestly, I wasn't impressed with the visual. I would even prefer the visual of Topspin 4. The fact that we're in 2024 and cannot manage to take the visual to a different stratosphere show the lack of talents and commitment. I also wasn't impressed with the animations...it looks a bit scripted and unrealistic compare to Topspin 4. Just the way it stop and move...wasn't fluid and natural.
The image quality of playing top spin4 is beautiful even though the game is over 10 years old. And the new game is a more FHD game at a special price. The system looks the same, just the image quality has improved....lol
Forget all that!. 2k26 should have a mode where you can take anyone of the draft picks, from round one or two, and do a my career of your favorite draft pick. FIGURE IT OUT.

This roster is abysmal. I dont even need Djokovic. The mens roster especially is really bad compared to real life talent. So many perrenial top 25 players missing. Adding the necessary characters now would cost anotber $100+ in DLC. Thank you for giving me no reason to pay full price. Will try out the my player when this is inevitably $20
I think it would be great if they added a "download players" option to this game. That way, we could download players created by the community. Playing a tennis game without the full roster is like playing a football game without Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, etc. The roster definitely needs to be improved.

It's literally copied and pasted from Topspin 4 and that's alright with you? A 2 generation difference game and this was the best they could do? Have some form of standards, rather than promote subpar games such as this, AO tennis, Tiebreak etc. Even fanmade games (like Full Ace Tennis Simulator and Tennis Elbow) are better than these AAA tennis games.

As a tennis practician the quality of balls moovement is very basic like in top spin 4 , maybe a little bit better… the sensation of speed is not enough balanced, maybe 30% faster will be more accurate. And I m sure it will very hard when you have a easy ball close to the net to finish the point easily like in Reality . Im tolérant but i dont want to suicide myself during a game session on this basic tennis game
These game modes are pretty basic. I was hoping for a few fun game modes that take you out of the repetitiveness of an ordinary tennis match (Beach Tennis, Pickleball, ect..,)
