My favorite topwater(s) are the saltwater zara spook and the yozuri hydro in the bone. Spring-mid November. Yes you read that right. As long as the stripers are willing to bit on top I'll throw them. Then it's to the holographic bronze yozuri mag darter in the 6 or the 5 inch. And switched out with the white or chartreuse bucktails with a 4 inch grub I think or the 6 I forget.

I was waiting for you to discuss the Island X Hellfire popper. They make this plug in floating or sinking models. They fly like missiles and catch like crazy.

great video! very informative. That Big DOC Spook is huge. Do you also work that plug like a pencil popper?

You can fish it both like a pencil popper with rod tip up or work it with rod to the side and jerk it like when you are fishing a minnow plug
