I noticed the BMW's all struggled many taking shrubbery with them but the VW beetles weren't phased one bit and made it look like a stroll in the park! 😎👍😯
@@code_sculptor straight up. It’s like when the snow flies and people spin wheels at full speed from stop signs. Is that how you walk on ice? Just a full out sprint from standing?
Beetles are rear engine, which means the driving wheels always have weight on them to keep them grounded, AND they dont need to push opposing weight uphill.
Don't miss that Devonshire mud, apart from driving in it of course. But now found out what true off roading is after moving out to Australia. But that was with a ton of spray rig on the back chasing invasive species around in the Snowie Mountains.
The best way to describe it is ...bit like Green lanening...although GL is done on RUPPs...this is more a combination of road and private property... But oh, what great fun..even just as a spectator.. You can find information about simply by asking through videos...l did.. 👍👍👍👍
No matter what, it's great to see people get off their arses and have mad and healthy fun like this. No doubt the EU would disapprove...and have it banned.. What a load of bllks😳 This is quite harmless...and if anything, brings people together...and that is a good thing. So please keep posting excellent videos like this....please..most enjoyable I'm in Spain...they can't do anything like that...really..twits they have more free space than the UK...heyho that's life..😄👍👍👍
Used to be able to use them, maybe even into the '80s (someone correct me on the date if I am wrong), but they were banned by the governing body due to sections being ripped up too much. Everyone is in the same boat so it doesn't really matter, the event holders would only have to make the hills more difficult to climb anyway if people were finding it too easy.
