The London to Land's End Trial is a long distance reliability trial held every Easter weekend, with competitors leaving their various starting points at 17:00 on Friday evening. Converging on Williton, Bridgewater from 21:00, where the trial begins in earnest.
Competing throughout the night and the following day is quite challenging, leaving competitors already weary before the Blue Hills mine stack hits their radar.
It is 17:30 approx. before Marshals see the last vehicle leave "The Hill".
