Broughy is a decent driver when it comes to normal racing lines but he cant compete with the fastest cause hes not sweating for every boost

So because you saw a 10 second clip of something that happens early in the video as a "preview" of what's to come, despite it not giving away the actual result of a 30 minute race, you'd choose to rid yourself of any potential enjoyment from watching the whole video? That's not a dig, it's a genuine question as I try to understand the feedback and navigate things.

​@@broughy1322 I understand, it's certainly not going to be a popular take but I'm just not a fan of previews in general. Even for things like Movies which can live or die based off of their previews I hate watching them ahead of time. I much prefer the sense of wonder and suspense that I get from going into something with no preconceptions, even if those preconceptions might end up being misguided later on. To me the "virgin" viewing experience is everything. It puts me into a sort of time warp where I end up being hyper aware of everything as it occurs because I don't have any expectations for what's to come and there's no anticipation of a moment I'm already aware of. This stretches my perception of time in the moment where everything seems drawn out as I savor each and every nuance of the video. Similarly, when watching Magic the Gathering replays, I always skip the deck techs in the beginning. I don't want to be told what the deck does, though I know there are people who appreciate this explanation and insight, I want to see it in action. To be clear, I do think that you're a fantastic content creator and I know you make the decisions that are best for your content and your viewership as a whole and I respect that.

Because I didn’t have to catch up an entire lap to unlap myself. Only about half a lap since we started not long after the toreros passed us.

You can't really spoil a 30 minute race with a 10 second clip of something that happens early on. It's meant as more of an instant preview of what's to come to hopefully have people interested immediately and wanting to see more. I've rendered out a number of videos with this style of intro. If there is still negativity towards it after that batch I'll stop doing it (I've had people say they like it too, so it needs time to generate proper feedback and thoughts rather than any kneejerk "change is bad" reactions).

It makes sense. It's a good way to attract attention and from that crash I would never have expected a win. But here we are.
