She didn't pop a pill. She uses cough drops or something like that and chewing gum to prevent her mouth to be too dry. She still does that to this day.
ME EITHER!! Ive been playing it for a week, over and over for hours a day!! I wish she would stop "phoning in" her live performances where it's like she's just reading them off paper and performing them. I miss these Tori days
I fucking love this song. Originally, she wrote this song about a hallucinogenic trip on a shamanic journey in which she met the devil. I think it means a lot more though. How sane have we made insane things? Normalized what is evil? "Girls who eat pizza and never gain weight"- the social pressures which are damaging and don't make sense.
@@srenfrederiksen1633 ~ Thank you so very much for taking the time to post a reply. I learned this vid was from the live concert that Tori did in Sept. '03 at West Palm Beach (the final stop on Amos's Lottapianos tour). It became the DVD called Welcome to Sunny Florida. What I didn't realize was Scarlet's Hidden Treasures was the CD part, of the CD/DVD combo. www.amazon.com/Tori-Amos-Welcome-Sunny-Florida/dp/B00023BJGE Awesome catching up with a fellow Tori fan!
@@daveelm4507 hes an amazing drummer with her, seeing/ hearing them live is perfection, as long as she does just mechanically play the songs. It seems rare there is any legit feelings in them like their used to be sadly
These days were the absolute best...pure magic....nownshe just goes through the motions and its heartbreaking....still wish shed tour pelle down to under the pink
Go away girls bring good laughs Steve McQueen always takes him back to a place where he saves pictures of pictures of her face Go away girls go too fast Steve McQueen plays it takes him back to a place where he has pictures of pictures of pictures of that day Go away girls they go fast Steve McQueen always takes him back to a place where he has to bring her back
Someone kindly posted the entire concert; it's well worth watching, or having in the background to listen to. The final song of the concert Hey Jupiter, wasn't a favorite of mine, but it is AMAZING! And I adore this version of Father Lucifer. If you haven't seen the version of Precious Things that she plays on this, it's a must see/hear. I do wish that she played Raspberry Swirl during this concert. Her drummer Matt Chamberlain is outstanding, and he really shines in Raspberry Swirl and Precious Things! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5yIVVmhUwBM.html This is from a Hard Rock Concert: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-glJWeuE2M-g.html
