Outstanding vid my new teacher. LOL. Question; I just bought this jig. Brand new to wood turning and tormek T8.. Will this work with a normal 5 piece turning set? I bought the lathe and a woodriver 5 piece turning set. This is what the set has in it. Set includes 1/8" and 1/4" spindle gouges, 1/8" parting tool, 1/4" round nose scraper, and 1/4" skew chisel Or recommend what jigs I need for all 5 pieces please. 2nd question. What is the difference between the 186 and the 186 R ???

why did Tormek make SVD-186 R Gouge Jig that will not fit the pen turning gouges ??? was a waist of my money
