Tornado Warning -Dublin, Columbus, Ohio 6/25 - 6/26 Part 1 

i love hearing tornado siren howls lol its a very earry sound and it gives me the chills lol

Even though they aren't warning sirens, so to speak, the fire engine sirens have an eerieness about them.

@Lukelr Dublin has a total of 23 sirens indepentently owned from the county system. They're a mix of Whelen WPS-2750s, 2805s and 2905s.

@newsthatisnttrue I know of one Fedelcode Model 2 in Dublin. It's on the corner of 161 and Mill Ln. on the roof of what used to be a fire station. The only spot where you can actually see it is from the parking lot behind the Starbucks. Dublin used to have a couple of ACA Allertors before they started installing the Whelens in 1990.

Yeah, no actual tornado - but I'd rather have a tornado warning and no tornado then to not have a tornado warning and all of a sudden "OMG IT'S A TORNADO!"

I can't remember...was this the night the sirens were going off until like 3am?

Good grief! Be grateful you live in a community with those responsible for public safety can be counted on to be at work in the middle of the night to make a decision to sound those sirens.

It's not Oklahoma, but Ohio get's it's fair share of tornadoes. Some of the worst tornadoes in history were in Ohio. Xenia has been hit hard twice (1974). Cincinnati has had F4s/F5s. Lordstown, Ohio was hit by a major F5 in the 80s. Westerville/New Albany had an F3 go through a couple years ago. Those are some of the major ones and close to home ones. Just because Pataskala hasn't been hit by a major tornado doesn't mean it "NEVER" happens.
