Pecos Hank was that really a f-5 tornado chasing, because if that was. It's a miracle you survived that. I love watching your tornado chasing, this one was pretty scary but really cool looking at tornadoes. I'm a big fan of your show, keep up the good work chasing down tornadoes.
You know,i have been following your videos for awhile now.....this was one of the rare few times you raised your voice and almost lost it.Plenty of Storm Chasers should really learn by how you broadcast by staying calm and not normally putting yourself in a bad position.
God created this world, the devil comes to steal kill and destroy I believe that the devil creates these storms and the only reason why many people do not die in some is because God is standing by there side protecting them
little Wolf :| everything can’t be good without any bad. It has to balance out. Could also be the works of God. Not religious at all and idk why I’m replying to this guy
Busted windows, rain wrapped tornadoes, wild bison encounters. Definitely livin' on the edge back in the early days Hank. Thanks for 10+ years of taking us up close and personal with Mother Nature's most violent creations.
8:16 "I love it out here. There's nothing in your way to stop you from getting to your storm" *pan to road block with empty road and random muppet with a stop sign* "....Ohhh mah gowd...."
@@andie_pants Dude I have high hopes for the 2020 season. 2019 wasn't great but it was certainly better than 2018. 2019 was kind of scary though. A lot of big tornadoes made some grazing shots on some high population areas.
@@Naughty_Neko Yeah. Nashville just took a devastating direct hit last night. :-( I'm afraid that storms are only going to keep getting stronger over time. Best thing we can do is learn as much as possible and keep people aware and informed.
That is scary, Friday the 13th, cemetery, Tornado chasing you, never seen nothing like this ever, You are like a tornado magnet of some sort, I love this video, going to my favs, thanks for uploading and showing us mother nature has a mind of its own and she sure as hell was using it too :o
0:33 I remember learning as a child that if the sky turned green, there could be a tornado. I watched the sky like a hawk when bad weather was rolling in!
I was on duty (paid Firefighter/medic) an responded to the Henryville, In. EF-4 in March of that year. The damage was loss of life and injured was unreal!
You know, I'm terrified of thunderstorms. I see lightning or hear thunder, I'm gone. But I love watching them on RU-vid. Go figure, hey? If I ever got near a tornado, I'd probably want to be with you. Your commentary is hilarious!
omg same. I’m terrified of them but i always tell people i have a morbid fascination. I love watching them on youtube and learning about them but when a thunderstorm comes my way i’m curled up with my dog listening to music in my earbuds with all the lights on.
I know this is 9 years ago, but this video is amazing! Pecos hank, you started my journey to be a fan of weather, I thank you a lot for getting me into weather, your chase videos are amazing.
I don't share your humour. F.f.s. Imagine you were about to be hit and some thick bastard in a truck was just sitting there, blocking your escape. If you both survived it, I'd have got out of my car and gone and hit the fokker full in the face afterwards.
Probably should not have watched this one before trying to go to sleep. My heart is still pounding! I appreciate that you do what you do. Your work is absolutely awesome!
It’s 2019 & I was freaking out & I got scared as if you were going to actually get hit & die! Even thought I’ve been binge watching the rest & recent ones. Lmao
Heather Lee You should stop bing watching, people don't fully experience, enjoy, or remember content they bing watch. I try to limit myself to 20 minutes per day of content this good.
2:17 That pounding music is freaking terrifying. I've seen all kinds of tornado chase videos, and they don't bother me one bit. There's just something about those pounding drums or whatever instrument gives me goosebumps and raised armhair.
It's really awesome seeing the changes and maturing of your channel. The captures, the quality of the footage, the commentary. Ty for doing what you do.
Fun fact, despite both of the Kiowa tornadoes being strong, the second one being massive, both were only EF0s due to not actually impacting anything to indicate damage levels. Just goes to show that the number after the F doesn’t mean shit half of the time, a tornado is deadly regardless of if it’s in a field or barreling towards a city (probably in Texas or OK).
That Friday The 13th tornado was on your tail! I'm glad you were able to get away from it, Hank! I'd have an absolute panic attack and be just frozen in place if that happened!! I'd never be able to do what you do on my own.
Rewatching this, it still gives me chills to see that super close call with that Friday The 13th Tornado Duo. The fact that you managed to keep your head is beyond badass to me, cos I would have immediately panicked. You're amazing, Hank, never stop doing what you do.
I thi k the part I like most is even when he's shaking hands with the monster, he's still relatively calm. I can't think of another person I'd want to face my fear down with other than Hank.
Hey man, loved your video! You seem to have a unique chase style, and a different way of editing than what I normally see in chase videos. Thanks for the fresh air!
Bro you really make some great videos. Ypu definetely fpund your calling and the fact that you are so respectful of natuer and people makes watching them even better. You dont get all excited like most and scream and holler. Your videos are relaxing to watch. Keep up your great work and God Bless
I’ve been on a marathon of about 100 tornado videos on RU-vid and never have I seen someone filming caught inside the tornado. Glad to see you alive to the day you read this comment.
"It's coming right on top of me!! It's coming right on top of me!!" My friend just walked pasted my door, only heard that, asked it I was watching fetish adult movies.... Nearly died laughing!! "It's sucking! It's sucking!" LMAO... Im dying
Here's a really stupid question I never knew the answer to. When you're out there chasing storms and you say "The storm is heading east" is that a technical east or east of your position?
+PhatxBoyxFresh it means the storm itself is heading east. If I was northeast of a storm that was traveling due north to a location east of me, I would say, it's heading north.
You would make Red Green proud with the excellent use of the handy man's favorite tool, duct tape. Great rear window cover! How about making some hail resistant steel shutters for your windshields.
Chrnan6710 Oh, I guess I didn't see that he was actually a storm chaser. I just assumed that he did it for fun and made videos. I was wondering why he was so good at it. But there was no need to be rude (I use the word loosely). You could have just told me that he was actually a storm chaser.
With the line delivery, the content, the sometimes mangled videos and above all, the termite ridden music, I think at times you approach art. no question about it.
April 14, 2012 was the first time I was ever in a tornado. I was in the tornado that came through Wichita, Kansas. Born and raised in the Midwest and that was the first time ever. Who ever says living in the Midwest you’ll see tornadoes all the time lies. Unless you’re a storm chaser. 😂😂
Hi, I'm a new subscriber. In 2013 in the UK, less than 1 mile from my families home, I was stood upstairs in the top bedroom and captured a small funnel developing for several minutes. I had nightmares for two years seeing real BIG tornadoes opposite their home. I've noticed over the years for 13 years that even before that funnel incident occured, the clouds always seem to be a thick dark black and blue and it looks like a jet stream edge of a funnel on its side or a shelf cloud. I have documented several years of photo's and videos. If anybody wants to see it just let me know, and I'll be more than happy to share the photo's.
