Looks like the shim worked great. I agree it takes a lot of water and to keep Bermuda mowed at the lower heights. I do like that edge mowed a little higher, always fun to play with the lawn and change things up.
The shims have been working great and way cheaper than the actual high hoc kit 👌 I was more curious how hard it would be to hold straight stripes at that height. Definitely feels like the higher I go the more the floating head dances which makes sense. Thanks for watching!!
Sup Sunny! Appreciate it brother. I really feel like last season the turf looked a lot better. Curious if this current season or last season was better for you as well?
@@BermudaBoss This season my turf looks better overall as long as it rains regularly. Unfortunately, I’m in my 2nd drought dormancy. It’s not as bad as the first one in June… yet. I really need to put in power and a pump down by my pond.
Ya good color man. Love that landscaping in the middle of the yard! My best color was when I mowed at 3/4” with my Cal Trimmer, but I the look of it lower. 1st world problems lol
Haha thanks brother! Yeah I think around 3/4 it looks completely different but greener too. I can't keep up with watering at this point just gotta pray for rain 😅
What are the advantages of having a groomer on Bermuda? In the middle of the year I've seen it get so stick that it lays over on its side, was wondering if the groomer would help stand it up and thin it out.
@@BermudaBoss your yard looks great and I enjoy your videos. I sold my flex 21 back in July and am looking for another one. Where have you found the the units that you have purchased.
@mattknittel2929 appreciate it! I bought my flex from a private seller out of state. I had some older fixed head GMs that were from a city auction but that was mostly luck.
