Toronto has become so expensive it’s ridiculous... 2k for such a small space 😢. I would live there if I was on my own, id feel so trapped living with somebody else in there. You have great style, love all your DIYs, especially the coffee table. I have been looking for a coffee table that size with flair. I moved from mid size 3 bedroom home to 750 square ft condo. Constantly decluttering, as little space for storage. So glad I stayed for last 2 minutes, it gave me a chuckle, as I keep my 2 laundry hampers in my tub.

this apartment is beautiful i love the long hallway, i honestly wish it wasn't so creepy to ask what building or area you live in cause i'm so picky about where i want to move into still struggling but i hope it works out and ill definitely be following your DIY's when that time comes

You might want to consider getting a tall wardrobe for the front hall. put in farthest corner for your husbands clothing. It would free up space in front closet. Also consider using shelves on top of top shelf to get more storage.

Thank you for sharing. Love your enthusiasm and DIY's; thrifting and careful shopping. We all have different perception on aesthetics but from what I was taught in school you might find it more positively impactful to most eyes if you had fewer smaller decor items and some larger impact items. The pictures, the green living pictures, the gold mid century modern type starbursts all would be better with one large one or in the case of the starburst(s) larger. As for storage you are in a familair predicament to most of us. It does cost but a storage bed that lifts up canhold a lot including suitcases and out of season clothes and boxes. If you could find another spot for the mirror you had room for a large and tall dresser to hold more stuff. As for the entrance you might try enclosing the bottom of your former outdoor bench or if matching the wood is too hard try making a roll out box with a mirrored front to reflect light. Of course a storage sofa could be helpful too for storage. In corporating more storage in the island could also help with the storage issue. There is also room for a stulsh storage unit/dresser near the bench in the front. It could be mirrored or white to fade in the wall. If you want a more clean look you can replace the storage unit by the bed and use some of those Ikea narrow shoe storage which actually can hold clothes, equipment, papers etc. Let's be honest if you live in Vancouver, Toronto, New York Milan, Paris. LA et al you have to be creative and try to live minimalist.

Definitely a cute space but I think it’s definitely better for a single person. You two have definitely outgrown that apartment. Atleast you have been able to utilize a lot of space but it’s giving me anxiety knowing that you guys don’t have a lot of storage 😂
