Toronto IS the most multicultural city in the world. You could walk down or up Yonge st ( the worlds largesr st) and literally hear people speak so many different languages incluiding Canada's 2 official languages English and French. I love this city, its got something for every season.

It’s probably not easy to know these things but Rouge park is pronounced Rooje and is French for ‘red.’ I’m also pretty sure Toronto was not first established by the French but by the English. Otherwise I think you have given some great ideas for what’s worth seeing in my home town.

Great job describing each and every neighborhood. I came to Toronto back in 2010 and 2011 and I didnt research and prepare myself. They were both weekend trips. I am going back in a month so now I know exactly what to look for. I have 4 days now so that should make a difference;hopefully lol Thank you!

The main building (shown in the video) is open Tuesdays through Sundays. The farmer's market is only open on Saturdays (5 am - 3 pm), and that happens in the north building, which is temporarily housed in a tent to the south until the new (modern) north building opens in 2023(?).

4th largest city in North America... meh, not really. thats only if you go by the "city proper" definition. I find it far more informative to compare cities by their metro pops in which case Toronto would be 5th at best with a metro of 6.5 million. Chicago is definitely a bigger city than Toronto with 9 million metro. I dont know why people want to be misleading about that fact.

I'm so sorry for Canada. Most things about a good Canada are not true, Including clean cities - beaches, and forests. It's a big lie. The first time I arrived in Vancouver in 2018, I was shocked. As soon as I left the airport door, I saw tissue, disposable glasses, and other garbage left in the city. The further I went, the more I saw them. Before I moved to Canada, I lived in Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Serbia, The United States, and for a short time in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Netherland, Germany, and England, but I have never seen the amount of garbage that people leave in different Canadian cities. Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec are no less than Vancouver. I'm so sorry for Canada. Canadian and Canadian Governments don't care about this tragedy. I think everything that says about Canada as a clean and powerful culture is not true. You don't need to travel to Canada to see this. Just watch some videos about walking in downtown Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, and Quebec. You will find the truth. Impossible for you to walk in a Canadian city and you don't see the dark side of that. Everywhere you will see garbage. You will never see this in Europe or the United States. This amount of waste is not even seen in Malaysian-Indonesian or Thailand cities. It is impossible for you to use public transport and not see a lot of garbage at stations or on the route. You will be surprised to find a lot of garbage even in the woods - by the rivers and on the beach.

@@ExNihilo634 Hi, my friend, I'm a 50-year-old man and I love Canada but the truth is bitter. I have started a movement to wake up Canadians from the garbage. We must accept the truth in order to change it. It is enough to look around us in cities - streets - roads - beaches - forests and public transport stations to see the truth. I'll try my best

@@ExNihilo634 you are a brain dead "homer" - you would rather protect your country's reputation than acknowledge the truth. I was born and lived in Canada for 51 years. the litter problem and apathy is out of control. nobody cares about cleaning up after themselves. the sides of roads and highways are gilled with trash. several years ago I went on a mission to get some level of government to get out there and clean it up. all of them told me the same thing "its not our job". the original post is 100% right and if you dont see it you are either blind or live in a very small town.
