No, we're going to Mexico for the pre-season to properly prepare for the CONCACAF Champions League, the next trophy in our sights. Our biggest competition will be from teams like America, Guadalajara etc. The MLS will take decades before its even comparable to the Premier League, but it is fun to see the development of this league. Ive been watching this club since day 1 and the style of football is night and day compared to 10 years ago.

Dear Canuckleheads, be happy, be proud cuz winning a thing is far better than losing a thing. But this ain't the World Cup. Toronto FC won the MLS Cup, not Canada. Club and country are two different things. Hopefully this is a harbinger of things to come for football in this country. Somewhere out there in the tundra there could be a little Canadian Cristiano kicking a ball on a frozen pond, hoping to one day play on TFC, and lead the Great White North to World Cup glory by actually qualifying every now and then.
