Sushi pizza was invented at Nami restaurant in Toronto. The official food is the peameal bacon sandwich (easiest spot to find it is St Lawrence market), but the unofficial food of Toronto because it is ubiquitous & loved is the Jamaican patty. 😊😊

Great episode! Born and raised in Toronto. It’s such a beautiful and vibrant city that welcomes everyone….and always has something going on. Toronto is the fourth largest city in the North America and it is very safe…..even at night downtown. Toronto also has the most building cranes in the world. In two years it will surpass Chicago, and only be second to New York, for most skyscrapers in North America. It’s a big city that continues to grow up into the sky! I’ve lived here for 57 yrs and would never think about moving. I love it! Even in the winter lol. Thanks for visiting and saying the name “Toronto” like the locals lol. Cheers! 🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦

The C.N. Tower, Casa Loma, Aquarium. The Zoo, The ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) The AGO (Art Gallery of Ontario) Black Creek Pioneer Village, Our Ontario Science Centre is closed at the moment, High Park with a working Farm, There are many things to do and see as well as Shopping and Restaurants.

The liquor stores are on strike in Ontario. I was just thinking i live in canada and prounce the second T. Well i started to say it to myself and i dont think i do either LOL. 😂 Most of canada is English speaking .

Sweet! Thank you for the tour! Funny thing to hear street names as pronounced by a non-Torontonian. Mostly the street part is not mentioned unless for directions and such... so Dupont street is referred to as just Dupont. Spadina is not Spadeena but Spadyna. And on and on. Anyway very nice you sniffed at our Toronto the Good, Cabbage town, or Hogtown!

48:39 you missed but briefly saw the flying table top building down McCaul Street, part of OCAD, or the Ontario College of Art and Design just behind the AGO. Truly unique structure, look it up, you would have wanted to see it. Also, while OCAD is pronounced (Oh-Cad) the AGO is (Ay-Gee-Oh rather than ago). One more thing, the AGO redesign was designed by architect Frank Gehry, a Toronto native but only his first work in his hometown

The Toronto tower CN tower is 1815 feet tall and 3 inches so that’s 553 m taller than one World Trade Centre in New York City New York City world trade centres 1715 feet tall a little shy of the cn tower

If you go to the Indian reserves, you can get recreational weed tax free so what you pay for your weed you don’t pay taxes on it when you’re on the reserve in Canada so that’s another good thing about Canada. You can get weed free and you don’t have to pay extra.
