Awesome 👏🏻 and very amazing 👍. 1:06 wowwww thsts big catch. Super excited to see it. 7:34 beautiful view and I want to try this fishing 🎣 if I have a chance. 8:07 super lucky got big one again. Have a nice day. New friend and greetings from Germany 🇩🇪.
I'm a actually really surprised that they were hitting that chartreuse color. Awesome catches man! I live not too far from here, definitely gonna fish here once the bass season opens again
Some great bass caught, however many of your viewers are stating that they'd like to try the same spots. They should know that fishing is currently not permitted where you are fishing from (North end of the pond) so they may be challenged if they try the same thing. Where fishing is allowed there's usually a crowd.
thats why i showed the sign i was aware that there is a bird watching area! i showed it so people dont just go there gotta risk it for the biscuit sometimes
@@user-by6yc8yl7v hey would you mind sharing what areas of ashbridges you fish? The actual bay with the marina only has one area to fish plus the public dock. There? Or do you fish from the big rocks that surround that "peninsula"?
Any tips for fishing in Toronto ive tried fishing all along lake ontario with no success with using lures, live baits and just food like corn but I have gone fishing in High park with some success with little bass and blue gill but im really trying to get huge catfish, pike and bass so if you got any tips let me know
ive been fishing at high park but not too much luck probably because I was on the platform next time ill try to look for the place u were fishing from and how the hell did you get the ontario place fish to bite been there 3 times and every time i go there always not biting its tough.
Honestly fished Ontario so much and seen so many fish that didn’t bite so I just downsized to super small finesse. If you throw something really tiny they usually can’t resist.
it sucks I went fishing there at least 50 times and only 3 times were good I went early morning and towards night and all nothing even the middle of the day which is normal and I only caught bass 1 out of the 20 times and there is a million anglers even in the early spring its not worth it
Night bite is hands down the best period at this pond. The first 2.5-3hours after sunset is total fire especially if youre looking for a bigger bite. That spot @5:47 is total money in evening and that spot @6:50 is gauranteed topwater blowups throwing a popping frog early morning
@@castontario9637 yeah this is the time of year to put in the night sessions throwing big bluegil imitation swimbaits and black spinnerbaits. I caught a 36" and a 37.25" pike in evening last year late September. Just don't hit the pond without a few buddies who arent afraid to get their hands dirty at night if it comes to it. Ive had some sketchy moments w sketchy people. But its worth it imo, there's confirmed 7s in the pond and i believe theres fish close to 8.
Great video and fish, friggin chunks! Love this, I'm actually based out of Ottawa. Would be cool to do a collab some day! Keep up the great work! New sub over here👌
@@castontario9637 let's gooo. Wicked man, I've wanted to fish the t.o area all summer but never made it down. I'm sure we can figure somethin out. Tight lines brotha!
Naw i fully get that, there is a bird watching path thats why you can not fish there. I am always very respectful to the people walking and passing by and they are usually very understanding and interested into what im up to! never leave a mess behind and always clean after other anglers. If you never try somthing you will never know if it will work !
I thought that they made fishing illegal in that pond except for one spot near the dock. Is that true? Also is the fishing good there because I heard a fish kill and overfishing made the fishing bad?
@@castontario9637 there is a sign that says where you can fish that is the wrong place but who cares as long as you don't get caught and you release all the fish you catch your good
@@iScootToronto I get it I feel like everyone and their grandmother already knows about fishing at high park it’s always been a popular spot in Toronto it’s not like it’s some hidden gem! I’m just doing my thing having fun catching some nice chunks and setting them back for the next guy to come along and have a wack at it thanks for the input tho I appreciate any comment
no fishing sign lmao thats how you know there is the best fishing there ,,,ok first place is ontario place but what about all the rest? did not really look familiar as high park?
@@ARCSTREAMS some people do I was threatened for fishing there in the legal and illegal spot this women called me disrespectful when I never saw the signs and I was complying with her trust me some people in high park usually the same pricks want to cause problems
@@MightyMarioBros378 wow i never had anyone give me problems there but why did she say disrespectful? and were you fishing in the legal spot when this happened? as i said i seen ppl fish all over that side and never heard anyone having problem but yeah man there will always be some assholes out there with nothing better to do then to hassle you, happens to me when i go fishing up north around either inisfill or keswick on cooks bay or simcoe and one time some guy even yelling at me for parking in some deserted construction site and i cant prove it but i think he took the air out of my rear tire as i noticed it flat after driving and i remember he was behind my car at one point before he yelled out then i got others who yell at you for being on there property like marina owners etc but i can not find any public place to fish from anyone its all taken over so its like a mission impossible planning each trip and i have no choice but to sneak into marinas after hours to get some good fishing done ,its a shame how things have become and the stupid gov is to blame as well for not thinking of shore fishermen
Dangerously weaving through traffic, fishing where it's not allowed, dragging the fish across gravel and sand and keeping the fish out of the water way too long. I never have my released fish so out of it that it takes forever to 'revive'. A number of those fish most likely died. Just because they splash off at first doesn't mean they aren't going to die from your pathetic disregard for them.
same pond same fish one half you can fish one half you cant im just willing to take the risk of a $300 ticket to catch big fish any day of the week. Its called passion not cheating
