Game 1 was a wonderful performance on the defensive end (for the most part). The Raptors' main goals were to keep the ball out of Steph and Klay's hands, and when they did get it, to force them inside the 3-point line. In order to do that, they were willing to give up wide open shots to Draymond and Iguodala.
In this video, watch how the Raptors completely ignore Draymond and Iguodala for large stretches (even when they have the ball), in order to make sure that Steph and Klay are not able to shake free. At times this led to Klay and Steph getting pretty wide open lanes and 2-point shots, but for the most part, the Raptors' lightning quick rotations and their intelligence to see the play developing was able to keep Golden State on their heels.
I encourage you to pay a lot of attention to the defense that is happening off-ball on Steph and Klay.
