I guess Shead has to prove he can bring his college skills to the NBA. But lets be clear davion is better than any backup guard we've had for a while.

Totally agree people forget RJ is just 24 and heading into his prime.. the pressure he puts on the rim and has some defensive upside still to be a solid defender if minutes don’t get crazy .. depth will actually help him be more efficient.. this team can low key fight for playoffs spot next year if few guys take a huge leap. Although rather see one more year of tanking lol coooper Flagg plz 😅
If RJ can become a even defender so he’s not a negative or a positive defender he’s worth every single bit of his $25 million contract. He’s still not an All-Star level player, but he is probably a guy that if there was a bunch of injuries, he would be in the running if he can get better defence and keep up his offence from last season

He wants to win. Period. Nobody is looking to tank. We keep hyping up guys based on highlights w/ o knowing how they will translate to the pro on a long term basis. The new guys will bring a lot of energy and athleticism, but like all young guys they will need to improve shooting, free throws and defensive awareness. Hopefully Raps coaching can get these guys to improve these aspects of their games during this short time in Vegas so that they will be better prepared for the upcoming season. Just hoping for more fun basketball to watch.😊

Bro, you don’t go into the season with a mindset of tanking. Do you know what tanking does to the players into the franchise to the coach? You’re basically basically telling Barnes and Emmanuel they’re not good enough to win games and Scotty Barnes lose $41 million you’re an uneducated casual
We didn’t go into the season with the mindset of taking it just kind of turned out that way and I do agree we should’ve tanked for Wemby, but at least we’re not building Pascal anymore
If we tank for Cooper Flagg, we’re basically telling Scotty Barnes he has to lose $41 million and he’s our franchise player at the moment so I’m saying we should try and win Scott can try and go for all NBA and if we suck, we can pivot into tanking we shouldn’t go into the season with the mindset of tanking you shouldn’t tell you’re two franchise players that you’re not that they’re not good enough by themselves and tank for another guy. You should give them a chance first.

We dont know right they're still developing, Scotty is still a couple years from his prime and flagg is more developed for his age which puts scottie, flagg, IQ all on the same timeline. Im just saying in order to develop you have to build first. Dont rush the building stage. Iq, scottie both have crazy potential but this could also be as good as they get which i doubt so wouldn't you rather have more gambles. Its better odds that one of them becomes a superstar. Or all three do and then you have a dynasty.
Look at their last game when they went 3-0 before Scotty got injured and the team injuries, they played amazing against the Pacers. That's the team we'll be seeing a lot of. Can't wait!! Screw the tank
