A lot of the Toronto slang is similar to London slang so I completely understood lol. Marved comes from cockney 'starving marvin' and the rest is from strong Caribbean influence that both London and Toronto have

We have a lot of similarly to UK yes. Even though we are on the same continent, a lot of provinces in Canada are more influenced by Europe. And Toronto in particular this slang is more common amoung Jamacian and Somalian I think.

Chanice Rich Not really. It says "black love" but the girl looks kind of mixedish. Not going to say she isn't black but definitely doesn't look like your average black person. Just looks to me like another case of a black guy looking for some way of fashioning a mixed girl or sometimes even a white girl into their "black queen". Without actually dating a black woman. I'd like to see true black love. True appreciation of what most black people look like. And that means typically afro hair, not wavy curls like this girl has
