"They're not moving" as they move ... I WANT these to work, but it looked to me like it was still tightening ...

Like I said in the video. They will twist and give that illusions, but the end torque will remain limited. Watch my example again and you'll see what I mean. Also the impact gun shakes a lot so that may give you an optical illusion of tightening more.

Torque test channel did a test too. It seems their conclusion is they work well for pneumatic, but for electric the anvil strikes are too rapid and they over torque. I think you could still use them but the calibration would be off, so use a lower torque than needed.

How do you know your torque wrench is accurate.

Logic! If you have two devices telling you the same measurement, then that means that they are either both wrong or both right. In this case logic dictates that they are both correct because the odds of both being wrong at the same time is a million to one. Especially since one is a brand new product just out of the box.
