Once upon a time, I let my weight and how others view me stop me from going after the things I want. I recently attended Torrid’s casting call in NJ, and although I was scared, I pushed past my fears and did it anyway. Prior to the event, I was feeling down about my weight and my looks, and got up and did it anyways. It was also the first time I went on a plane by myself and having to navigate the airport on my own. Keep showing up! These opportunities are definitely for you, but you are also paving the way and making things possible for the next girl/person to show up and be seen! Best of luck girl❤

A lot of times, we think we are fitting into God's will, but we are striving and just doing stuff for our own self-satisfaction because we're not lazy people, but many times, God hasn't even ordained it and that's why it is so hard and things don't flow freely. I am hesitant to go and apply, they are only looking 30 applicants and my mind and train of thought is out of everyone there is no way they would choose me! I’m very self conscious but still have always felt like I’ve had more to offer, they are holding a casting call this weekend where I live.
