In mid-April I paid a visit to the Torrington Area Model Railroaders, a model railroad club near me during their spring open house event. Overall, I really enjoyed my few hours there while I got to see their HO scale layout which the club brings to the yearly Big E Train Show (a.k.a Amherst Railway Society's Railroad Hobby Show) but what I did not know is that the club also has a couple of N scale layouts. My favorite part on the HO scale layout is always the part where the tracks winding through the trees, and as for the N scale layout, the Kanawha Falls.
Thank you to all the club members for being so welcome and kind, and once again, I really enjoyed the open house!
After this visit, I think I would be interested in the open house even house events in other model railroad clubs!
