Torvill & Dean "Ice Works" 

A dance for two skaters, solo clarinet, and video cameras. It's a complex combination of arts, rather than a straight documentary film of the routine. Congratulations to all who worked together to create it.

Difficult movements, smooth as ever, fine music, great costumes, but poor camera action.

This is such an odd routine for me - I know it's meant to be about the fluidity of the movement and the sounds of the blades with the music but I just don't get it. I appreciate the smoothness and the movement but I can't love it like the rest of their routines. It looks like two people playing in the sun - each in their own world - perhaps that's why I don't like it. Two dancers who just happen to be dancing together without any connection.
