I don't think that the majority of people in Britain believe that bringing labour back into power is going to change anything. Alot of people aren't even interested in politics anymore, how can sunak even smile, laugh and pounce about like he does when the country is in such a mess it boils my blood. I emigrated 11 years ago and I'm shocked every time I go home it's awful, the country is crumbling and it's in a mess.

It’s only the last 2 -3 decades where the council estates and poverty stricken parts of towns and cities have been driven further into the ground, the exact same places were poverty estates like 40,50 and 60 years ago, but they had nothing back then but people still had a great sense of community and pride in the “ very little “ they did have, every house used to brush the pavement out front door and kept it at least clean and tidy, and respectful looking, now there’s no pride coming from the younger generations. I pointed to a food wrapper a teenager dropped after eating it, and I said “ you’ve dropped that mate, and there’s a bin just there pal “. … his answer was “ litter pickers get paid for that, that is their job “ that’s the mentality of it in one. 🤦♂️🤷♀️ such a shame .

But the long term effects it has on you as a child and now an adult are devastating, it’s a lifetime journey to undo all the damage of the past! Focus on your immediate family , extended family and good friends , educate yourself by reading literature , exercise regularly ..eat as well as you can on your budget ... Then plan from there ... Train to be something , do whatever job you do with pride ...keep a clean abode ... None of these things cost money ...

In the mid to late 1990's I worked up in Glasgow Billy, stayed in a place called Cathcart, the Scottish guys I was working with, one of them, his name George, he was the first person in Scotland to be imprisoned for none payment of what was then "Poll tax" and he was actually from Govan lol. Back in the 1990's, Cathcart was majority foreign even then, particularly the Muslim community.

It's not as bad as people think it is, I mean think about it: Our kids won't have to fight in a war unless they want to, they can almost always find work if they want to and if they can't, there is a benefits system that provides them with free health care and basic accomodation and money. Many countries don't provide any of these things and to top it all off their citizens don't have any rights in law. Why do you think people are risking their lives to come here? It is for all of the above.

Hi bill ,most city's spend money on the places were it's going to regenerate money, the outskirts get left alone, look at how much money is put into liverpool city centre, it's growing, there building everywhere, but, just drive a couple of miles outside of town, and it's forgotten about, they the council don't care, the government doesn't care, and leaves every city to sort it

Hi Billy Please please don't give up on hope. As I commented in your previous video your content needs to be displayed and the local m.p's invited to the exhibition. This combined with some research to provide a contextual background. The aim would be to demonstrate an inclusive approach,for example, input from those on the street, dialogue with established groups who hold the same mindset. Perhaps initially start a Petition ,for: A Motivation for Positive Change. The overall ethos needs to be both inclusive and collaborative. You have already achieved so much yourself and have so much background and motivation to make social change. I have always had a commitment to these values if you decide to go ahead I would like to give support. Let's start a petition and take positive action against the total decline you have documented so mindfully and respectively and sensitively.

Take a visit to Aberdeen the so called Oil capital and it’s not any better unless you’re working off shore or in something that makes decent money while buildings are crumbling and things like homelessness and addiction are sky high with less and less help available. People that work offshore have that “look what I have” attitude you mentioned and can turn into selfish people who look down at the everyday person while wishing they were higher up the ladder than they are but act like they are up there. Place is falling apart.
