I wanted to be an A&R too growing up, but I ended up working in the industry doing royalty accounting and administration. A&Rs still exists they just aren’t as prevalent as before. I know a few from Atlantic Records and Def Jam. Also the independent label I currently work for has a good amount of A&Rs.

Well she may not be lying but she changed up the story real quick almost as if she doesn’t know what happened but someone in her team told her what went down. The facts are she switched up her story days later so I wouldn’t be surprised if she took someones word for what actually happened.
