Hi bro just bought this model 65" for RM3600! The price went down recently. With that price for 65" with built-in subwoofer..man i think i hit the jackpot.
Just bought the 55inch M550L for RM1800 in Shopee. Great purchase I must say, was thinking between the Xiaomi Q1E 55" and Toshiba with better sound quality, much easier choice to make.
Great review,I just bought the 65 in,picked it up today,my ten yr old ,40 in Sharp Aquas was still playing fine,I just wanted a bigger TV,hooking it up now, thanks for the review !!!
I just bought a 55-inch Toshiba M550 UHD 4K Android TV on October 9, 2022, and it DID NOT have a 25-watt built-in subwoofer! I also checked out the 65 & 75-inchToshiba M550 UHD 4K Android TV and they DO NOT have a 25-watt built-in subwoofer either. Toshiba must have decided to take out the 25-watt built-in subwoofer in ALL their M550 UHD 4K. The sound quality is still fairly good even without the 25-watt built-in subwoofer...
Recently there is huge drop price for Toshiba 55 M550 which at first I got attracted to such pricing (RM2k ONLY!!) Then until I bumped into Hisense U7H, there you go! I hope I made the right decision, despite it's dilemma call between GoogleTV and Vidaa OS..
What are the best picture and motion processing settings? My motion processing whether set to on or off always looks bad especially with hdr content. Ive played with a few different settings but cant get it to stop. It is mostly with motion around people's movements. Their hands and feet have pixelations around them during movement or gets jittery. Even quickly scrolling through Netflix titles for example will start to jitter the images, doesn't stay in clear motion.
Nice review, I like it 🥰 But how about your experience using M550 for playing PS5? Is game mode can help the 60hz panel? Or Toshiba need another line up with 120hz panel?
@@greenxo2607 If you read further than the base spec sheet you will see that while it does have HDMI 2.1, they only support 60hz. So the TV is 120hz but only for things like the built in apps. Nothing connected over HDMI. HDMI 2.1 does not mean it will have 4k 120hz support anymore.
Bro i am advicing you to buy toshiba rather other brands, to be frank, initially I wanted to go for a huge sized TV, but after seeing Haier 4K UHD, Hisense 4k UHD, and etc etc, I found that the only unit which has real 4K picture quality was Toshiba. You should definitely buy this one, you would love it soo much. China brands are not reliable, if they claim 4K then divide by two which means it would only provide 2K resolution. Better go for this one, i just bought this today and i am enjoying it
@@gilancadre6236 Every person who buys a TV always says its the best TV ever lol. Whether its a china brand or not also means less today when 1) everything is made in china now. and 2) they often outsource components inside the TV from places like china. And im not some china defender, I think we should make our own stuff.
the panel is 120hz for built in apps, but the HDMI ports on the back support 60hz. You can read reviews that confirm this. Im not getting this TV but personally 60hz is not a problem. In a few years people will say 120hz is trash and you should only buy 240hz TVs.
For a TV with this price range you can't get what you need and mentioned bro, I have another two more TV reviews coming out which has what you are looking for but the price is where you will see a huge difference buddy 🙂
@@BlyGuy if you go to the Toshiba USA website and click on TV support, you will see more complete specs on the m550..and at the very bottom of the spec pages, you will see "product of Hisense" for "help " call hisense at (phone number). So, ultimately it seems that in ths US it's a variant of the u6g/u7g, but without quantum dots and less dimming zones.
The only drawback for me is the low height tv stand. Now i have to think about where to put my soundbar if I were to purchase this. Otherwise, i might just settle down with 65c350lp.
@@williampin4186 i finally go for sony X80J. Nice screen color, smooth responsive google TV...only downside is speaker, tiny sound and noisy if increase volume. Need to get soundbar to replace original tv speaker.
Don't see quality off TV when you buy don't compare with demo it's all same bought TV see service type from company used android worst than os from LG most perfect 👍
@@AdamLoboTV i will next,,, since i knew that the government regulation at least 2022 will erase the conventional analog tv and turn it into digital broadcast, so it's a must ☺
Hehe, the Hisense U7G was a review unit buddy, same like how I review smartphones and the review units, I just returned this TV after I have done using it and reviewing it after about 2 and a half weeks 🙂
I bought this TV for RM 3.7K today, seriously I love this TV, the picture quality is amazing, the sound, the features, seriously. Who cares whether it has hdmi 2.1 or not and earc port.
