This was a great laptop back in the day, I was screaming through the internet naked with no virus protection on it. 900 bucks at Circuit city in like 2004.
Found one of these sitting inside of a cabinet that was being thrown away in the rich neighborhoods, currently waiting to get the charger to see if this thing really works 💃
I got one of these from someone who was throwing it away and the first thing I did was install windows 7 on it which ran way better than the bloated xp, and I installed a ssd soon after. With a ssd this thing is snappy enough for most simple programs. The battery is completely dead and this is accelerated by a defect with the driver software for the battery, when it is charging it stops at 50% battery than it drains to like 10% and it charges up to 100% than it drops down to below 10% and because of that it kills the battery in a few years.
I found a toshiba qoisimo laptop in my basement from 2005. It has a pentium m at 1.86ghz, 1.5gb ram and an nvidia GeForce go fx 6600. It’s running XP media center edition
@@MontieMongooseTodah for responding. I was going to do it myself. But I'm trying to figure out if I need to take the bottom off to do it. Because the ram is under a section of the frame. Keeping me from removing it.
