Lost the weight, got the tats, got the sig models, got the stage presence, got the band, got the songs... I have a feeling we're all going to see Bea do some special stuff And Illumo
Damn, you guys are so entertaining to watch! A total Roller Coaster Ride of a set. Simply Brilliant! Thanks for sharing! Come to Texas and I'll be there no doubt!
This Power Trio is quite unbelieveable ! Rhythmically superb with an amazing groove throughout ! Rabea is a genius in making ! Such a humble dude as well ! I'm a 55 year old fan !
MAN!!! Illumo is sooo fucking epic!!! Whole set is not your average pub band. These 3 guys are not playing Oasis (3 chords) covers, or classic generic rock (5 chords)...it's ambitious and complex, and note perfect. It shouts "Talent and real music is alive!!!" from the rooftops!!. Love it.
behold the birth of a world class rock/metal band well done lads you sound killer and i should know ive been listening to rock music for 50yrs and i know a good band when i hear one.
That new song is flippin sick. It seemed to encompass so much of each individuals talent seemlessly melding together into one piece. If you guys don't come to America I might have to swim across that sea sometime soon!
The three of you are fucking phenomenal! Each a force to be reckoned with, and you all come together to produce a cerebral and visceral journey. Love the last piece too! Is that new or old stuff?
Absolutely stunning performance! Just love the vibe of you guys. Three masters on their instruments, and still just enjoying... And while I just love Bea, kudos for Ben and Dave.. They're just rock fucking solid!
They're all great, but I keep being surprised by quite what a tone monster Dave is. Even through (admittedly pretty solid) camera audio, you can hear every note and it sounds heavy as a really heavy thing.
this trio is truly grt.and i admire each of them.but dave being a bass player.i can relate to him more...as its his duty to combine both drums and lead guitar to make a song greater
I only discovered dorje recently and whilst I've enjoyed watching and listening...gotta say...I sometimes find Chappers to be a bit self important. Pretty chuffed I can start the Toska journey with you all now. Let it be said though...got nowt against Chappers and I've learned a lot from his uploads. I'm a fan of both. Dorje is dorje and Toska is Toska. Ps...Dave must've procrastinated on an Olympic level over chopping his dreads! I have a cull every few years (it grows back...eventually).
Amazing set. Just want to give a shout out to Ben destroying that drum set with his amazing grooves. Bea and DAVE are always great but Ben never gets enough love!
Starting realy like these guys, probably less bass and more Rabs, sorry Dave it just overpowers rather than enhance some times but still fucking awesome. Illumo and A tall Order just \m/ (toolesc)
see how great these guys are when they havent got anyone insisting they can sing its like a layer of cheese has been removed exposing a great 3 piece outfit shit id buy your albums. plus your weight loss looks good off you rabea
Come on, that's harsh. Rob USED to sing dreadfully, but he's a thousand times better now, and his writing compliments the rest of the band... Dorje and Toska are just two different things run by the same people. They're not in competition, except perhaps for diary space.
Richard Harrold he is a cool guitarist he is enthusiastic about everything and everyone he is fairly funny id like him to teach me even but the band is moving forward way faster than his vocals sorry he just cant sing as well as the band is gifted with musicianship his voice on a friday night at a country pub full of real ale and zeppellin fans he would be ok but the band is poised to be mega and id hate the guys to miss out over a guy who's ego is being put first they need a gifted female vocalist robs wife or a guy with a killer voice.
sorry i have to agree I cringe at videos and live performances of Dorje, due to rob singing, if he really wants Dorje to take off he needs to take a backseat as a rhythm guitarist and find a dedicated lead singer otherwise it is inevitable that the rest of the band will not be available as toska really takes off, harsh I know but in my opinion the truth !
As skillful as they are, it is a pity that Bea sounded more like a rythmn guitarist rather than lead. And all the songs sounded more like a nice backing track and not a completed song. The lead part is missing be it by means of guitar or vocal.
