I started out ordering or picking up one or two things at a time until l have my stash. But make sure order all cold pressed, unrefined, organic. I just love my self that much. I'm thinking Christmas and gift giving purposes while doing up my healing salves lotions etc. I still have about 5 things still on my list and since i'm in a fixed income l have to wait each month for my ss retirement to come in. But one thing l know l won't be stressing come the holidays. I'll have salves for head aches, bug bites, pain, cold sores, body butters for moisturizing, tooth pastes, drops for ear aches, and what ever else necessary that l can create. Ive also created me a name and thinking of trying to go to festivals to see if they will sell. I'll have samples to pass out with my contact to help recoupe expenses. Just local in my area as im not in any social media sites by choice. Ive already made a healing body butter andc gifted to a friend. She texted me later that day and said she'd like to buy some when l make another batch she loved it so well😊

This oil sounds heavenly, but I don't get enough in a year to make this up for just myself. Decades ago, I used to get a lot of stress headaches and the occasional migraine. A doctor told me to apply ice, which sounded weird at the time... but it changed my life later. A few years forward, after coughing my head off all night long, I developed a serious migraine. It was so bad that I could not hold down anything to rid the headache, and I was in so much pain. I literally crawled on the floor to the fridge and got out some ice, put a pack on the back of my head where it was hurting... it was my last hope. Shockingly, it worked!!! Full-fledged migraines are horrific. After that experience, I have been able to keep from getting migraines or getting rid of regular headaches by recognizing the symptoms early and applying an ice pack to where the pain is throbbing most. I imagine using ice and this balm would excellerate ridding of the headache and be so calming with the herbal scents.

Mint, I have. Pine needles, I can get from a park, but what kind they are I don't know. Most of all the things on your table, I do not have. If I have 4 headaches/year, that's about all. Usually after not having a coffee for 2 days.
@isatq2133
@isatq2133 2 месяца назад
For the rest i cannot help but the pine needles are very easy. If you remember 2 3 5, you’re looking for the small bunches of needles that are naturally grouped together. All true pines are edible. All true pines have either 2, 3, or 5 needles in a bunch. The one exception is the ponderosa pine. (Its not really a pine) if you only eat a small amount you’ll be fine. All conifers are high in vitamin C. Good luck foraging!

So why not just melt the beeswax separately then add the oil and stir, then decant? This way you won't be heating the oil to long. Take those tubes and gather them together open side up, place a rubber band gently around them so they don't fall over. Take a pipette to fill the tubes. When tubes are set take the rubber band off. Wipe tubes of any drips and wipe with alcohol and label.

Carolyn. Love your videos, but I noticed that you used a large amount of essential oil. I couldn’t tell what brand of oil you are using from the bundle that you posted, but 80-90% of essential oils on the market are adulterated. A Certified Pure Tested Grade oil like doTerra would only require drops of the oil in your recipe. Wondering if that could be contributing to your glyphosate issues if you use a lot of essential oils. FYI

IMO, Ferments and infusions often do change color, this is normal. The only cause for concern for me is if I specifically see 'black colored mold' growing on the top of my ferments or infusions. In ferments such as pickles 'white mold' is ok and is just a harmless yeast called Kham. Black mold is bad and is what I watch out for. In this video Carolyn's infusion had no mold of any sort floating on it, it just changed color due to the herbs infusing into it.

Honestly I can’t remember how I made it so I may have done something wrong but I have tried so many natural herbs that are supposed to be good for headaches and nothing has worked. I have tried feverfew, holy basil, skullcap, butterbur, the salve I made, another oil roller deal I made with e.o’s., a muscle spray, and teasle tincture. No luck. I actually may try this again with some cramp bark and willow bark and see if that helps. It is for sure frustrating! This is the one area herbal/natural remedies have failed me. Fingers crossed!
