Sir I have some questions regarding this. 1) Is USMLE worth it. Considering the efforts you have to put in and tremendous amount you have to spend. Even after passing all steps and research work there is no guarantee that you will get matched. What are your views on it. 2) Secondly I have heard it is very difficult for IMGs to get matched in surgical fields. Most of them only get matched in medicine? Kindly answer these. Thank you.
1)Yes it is worth considering. You should consider this that you are going to get trained with highest medical graduates of the world from all over the world. 2)And that is true , it is tough , tough when you are img and tougher when you are going for the surgical residency, but imgs do get matched in surgery. But surgery is tough even for American graduates too.
Yes with current circumstances it is getting really tough. I was discussing with my friend who is in US, he way saying that when doing Usmle think of the excellence you are going to get not the Cost.
@@yovvikhatri8434 I think for biochem it is enough, for anatomy, some would only do first aid but some would say go for some other rapid review. After getting to know these subjects the fundamental tool is Uworld.
