Yes, it is true that most of the largest countries have largest railway network, but there are few countries as well which are largest in terms of area but not even in the top 30 rank in railway coverage like Canada etc Also, there are countries which are not in top 50 list in terms of largest countries by area but holds top spots in railway coverage such as Japan, Germany etc..
