I'm a big JDM fan and it infuriates me when people throw around the term... I think the explanation in this video needs to be shared far and wide - especially with clueless, young MX-5 and Civic Type-R owners!

Honda engines are amazing. Shame it has wrong wheel drive for a sports coupe.

Aaron here! Lots of people say that and in most cases, I would agree with you. However, each generation of the Integra Type-R was essentially designed to be thrashed. As you said, the engine is solid, but so is the rest of the car. At speed, it is one of the most responsive cars I've driven - the torque steer is a bit of a downside from the FWD, but I would consider it a safety feature that keeps you alert! Brits always saying 220 brake hp when referring to the Integra or Civic. It's not brake hp. 220 iswhat the engine produces. Brake hp is more like 180 to 190 with the fd2 or dc5. Less so with the fn2 ect
