start of campaign: Dinios Stanius- "I want head shots", guys on the frontline- "go for their belly, no fancy headshots". towards the end Dinios' men hold the line and secure enemy clothes without needing instruction. the epic line that concludes this character arc "I conquer people for dopamine"
I just wanna say that what Dinostan said about the gnome and troll areas in Sweden and Norway is 100% true, I live right by a lake with 4 islands the smallest of which is a dead troll and the second smallest is a gnome area
@@Dino_Stan Relations are tense since the island my great grandfather put them on was almost entirely populated by fire ants and an angry hawk but I will ask them in the summer when the ice melts.
if only Agent Schrader spent some time on reading about the case of Agent Caesar, he' know that he would be betrayed by his own family. What a shame, At least you Mr. Stan teach us, about these type of History.

If Dino would suddenly be teleported to the moment when Vercingetorix surrendered to Caesar it would went down something like this: Dino: What the hell Caesar: Quae est infernum Vercingetorix: Que diable
As a French, our equivalent of the Blair Witch Project is called Gevaudan forest, with a medieval cryptid which could be described as a werewolf and today people told that they have seen a wild cougar killing their horses/dogs By the way we are witnessing the return of wolves so farmers are pissed of their attack on cattles
Idk bro, dont want to be a negative nancy, but rome 2 still gives me that uncanny valley of unfinished game design that empire total war does. The weird voice acting, the play dough 3d models, the soulless battle music. I think cause I played the game at launch I can never see the game in a different light, even if now its been more 'polished'. If you got back and watch that Siege of Carthage demo that ended up being total false advertising you feel the uncanny feeling in Rome 2 now. Its objectively a good game, but I still feel like we shouldn't forgive CA for totally misleading everyone, then spending literal years to fix the game lmao. Just my opinion though.
Rome 2 is very weird, I have Stockholm syndrome with it now after hating it for years. I think it's because I'm nostalgic to the rome 2 e3 footage, what could've been
Gaul First Meet With Rome Rome:Phewwwww ???:Hey You! Rome:Who Are You? ???:I Am Senones? Rome:Tell Me...Senones... Why You Are Attacking Me? Senones:Uh... Helvetii:Senones! HELP! Senones: Helvetii, I Cant Help You. Helvetii:Why? Senones:Not Ur Buisness. Vocontii: Ey Rome. Rome:Vocontii? Vocontii: Julius Caesar Ruless!!!! Rome:Uhm.. Thanks? Vocontii: Your Welcome, Caesar Part 2 Nervii And Rome: God Buisness. Gaul:The F1ck Is The Matter? Rome: Nothing, I Gotta Go, Gaul:Why? Bruh Iam Bored Typing, Byeee😊😊
I can't help but imagined that Dinostan attacked Suebi out of great shame and one of the barbarians was like TRAITOW UWU! As for the hex, it kicks the furry out you to go to the Rome-Zone
The Gallic Holocaust was truly one of history's first and most notorious heated gamer moments. Caesar tried to apologize for his actions on that fateful bridge battle, but the Senate eventually cancelled him anyway.
Did my first ever Nervii campaign in Caesar in Gaul just to see what it was like. Beat it in 2 hours. Heavily underwhelming. Rome is the true experience.
Is it really a great game? I got back into it recently and I’m fighting tier one trash stacks on turn 50+ with my elite armies. After almost a decade they could not make a decent mid-late game AI work properly to offer some challenge. Feels like I wasted my time returning. Perhaps with mods 🤔
Fun fact, this DLC and FNV is why I dedicated like 12 years of my life to Gaius Julius Caesar, from my funny smile app to my steam account. And no I never even played the dlc until recently cuz my computer was trash and I could only play Rome 1 (suck it nerds I avoided Rome 2 being trash)
0:35 still wouldn’t describe Rome 2 as good per say, but it’s become fun in its own ways. At this point my problems with it lie more in its legacy (changing the province system and blah blah blah) than anything.
