Ahhhh yes now that IS a fairly old timy question indeed and yeah it requires some knowledge of how warhammer fantasy and 40k interact. Essentially what you are seeing there is a Demon engine a combination of a (judging by the size) greater Demon (in this case Khorn) and machine, now ofc a machine of that size would be impossible to build much less move even with modern tech but the demonic power inside it essentially gives the machine "life" and enable it to ignore many of the mundane laws of our worlds system of gravity and physics. However there is a catch, the bigger the machine the grater the demonic essence required as even amongst greater demons there is vast discrepancy in power and as i talked about in my chaos video the bigger the demon the bigger the demand for warp energy. So while there are several smaller demon engines like fks www.games-workshop.com/resources/catalog/product/600x620/99129915013_SoulGrinderXbox.jpg and they can take essentially any form, shape and size. Something the size of that on the Chaos 4th would only be possible inside the warp (the rulers of the warp can create anything they want inside the warp including so called "demon worlds" where armies of millions of demons and chaos worshipers engage in endless conflict simply to amuse the gods) or in extremely close proximity to the Chaos gates in the Warhammer world. Phew that was a long one, but i think that should answer your question :)

+Radical chaos marauders are pretty numerous in most armies. But in general they focus on elite, while Skaven and Vampire counts field endless fodder with a few elites.

I think it has to do with mentality. A human who gets insulted will attack even if it means death, whereas the Skaven couldn’t care less about the insults being thrown at them.

Extremely late here, but Skaven simply do not suffer the consequences for refusing challenges, but there's nothing stating that they always do it. So, if I remember correctly, A skaven warlord still has to accept the challenge from Wulfrik.

Games workshop still sells both 40k and age of sigmar. And 40k is the better selling one. But people like fantasy because of the formation battles and medieval-ish looks. Not single pieces of heavily armed space marines with axes instead of bolters running around.

+Juan Paolo Datu in warhammer fantasy there is not really any white and black morality, more like different shades of gray (40k being grey and black morality) how it works is that there is chaos (with is, well, chaos) it's destruktiv, sociopathic and scary as fuck, but it is still a big part of life, no chaos, no life, no life, no chaos. then we have order, the anti chaos, I am to lazy to describe all of it but it is as I did say, anti chaos, with means it can exist without life. then we have the midlegrund, the ones that don't give a fuck, like orks

The repetition is a problem i am trying to work on, but theres just so much to talk about! so lengths is probably gonne stay loooooong unless i start splitting up the episodes into fks a Heroes episode and a Army episode hmmmm i may do that.

Arch Warhammer maybe have guests on from time to time and you can add a bit in where you debate how these things could be implemented etc.? just an idea though.. keep it up nonetheless!

yyyp12345 I think those guys who made Call of Warhammer for Medieval 2 solved this in quite a good way. If the AI plays as Chaos, they get a shit-ton of bonuses at a certain stage of the game that causes them to become an apocalyptic wave that sweeps down south. Imagine the mongols, just times four! If the Player chooses to play as Chaos, they'll spend the beginning of the game building up and fighting other chaos factions for dominance with the occasional interloper from the other races, before they too turn their gaze on the south and march on to Altdorf, but without the massive AI-resource and unit boost due to player intelligence. That way, AI Chaos remains terrifying, while playing as Chaos yourself becomes fun and also challenging :)

+Beast 3123 rat mages would need to debuff them a hell lot then get them surrounded, one of the spells we have seen so far decreases 50% of armor (more or less) so that would be nice

julian brown well I asked a friend of mine about him apparently he was in the old version of warriors of chaos I think 4th edition and apparently he's a sorcerer with a darth vader like suit of armour keeping him alive and rides a dragon he's also the leader of a powerful tzeentch cult so if we do see chaos its probably going to be tzeentch focused

John murphy When Chaos is introduced as a playable faction I'm going to bet on Archeon. Because he's the most famous and the most iconic, and he's the most bankable on the chaos heroes. In the first game its probably going to be wizard guy though as an unplayable faction. Will pretty much confirmed Chaos when I asked him on TWC.
