​@@Visitormassacre The so-called "hatred" is actually a primordial instinct bestowed upon them by the Old Ones. It's more or less their job to stop Chaos. They don't do it out of hate. Whoever "Teeny Weenie" is, they don't "enjoy" murdering skaven - rather, they need to in order to survive the plagues wrought upon the lizardmen by the rat-men. Mazdamundi doesn't actually care about the warm-bloods - in reality, he's simply trying to stop them from plundering the sacred temple cities of Lustria which, until he awoke, had been left relatively unguarded. EDIT: I rest my case.

The Old Ones left after Chaos arrived. They ignore their prayers because the forces of Chaos would kill them off if they actually returned to help them. So you can't really blame them. If the lizardmen understood emotions, they could potentially manipulate Chaos into its destruction, and thus the Old Ones would be able to return again, and the Great Plan could finally be fulfilled. Now, back to the point: Sotek is not a chaos god. He is the Lizardmen God of sacrifice, and very likely existed long before this as Pg. 80 of the Lizardmen codex states that "The standard is in the form of a huge golden serpent coiled around the standard-pole. Its forked tongue faces the foe and if any enemy approaches Lord Kroak, the serpent is awakened and writhes, hisses and spits like a living creature, animated by Lord Kroak's residual power. It is a matter of great debate among the Mage-Priests as to whether this standard represents Sotek, since Lord Kroak perished many centuries before the emergence of that god." referring to the Slann's legendary 'Standard Of The Sacred Serpent'. Sotek existed long before the Skaven Menace, but he was simply not mentioned by the first-spawning Slann because it would cause issues with mass-sacrifice, which actually goes against the Great Plan (what if they sacrificed something that plays an important role in the fulfillment of the plan?) and thus this particular Old One is censored to ensure that the plan is followed as strictly as possible. It's also very likely that Sotek wasn't mentioned before his emergence because, perhaps, the Sacred Plaques that were written about went missing during the Great Catastrophe. Perhaps Tehenahuin (the first Prophet of Sotek) stumbled upon such a relic (hence the fact that he carries with him a prophetic plaque that foretells the death of the Skaven) and decided to spread the word.

The rules aren't as good. 40K just makes more sense rules-wise. Otherwise, fantasy is better in every way.

There isnt much the old ones can do to the chaos gods. In the warp you pretty much can't kill the chaos god.

Yes skinks are spawned in pools and are often spawned in the same pools as Kroxigors. Pretty sure Sotek knows this so maybe it was just an odd turn of phrase.

Which is why Slaanesh is very powerful despite being a new comer.

He does in total war. Though it’s not very efficient to use on him, probably better to bring a heavens priest and use Tehenauin as a army buffer and fighter
