I like that Mattel is creating more diversified doll lines but nothing can compare to the OG Totally Hair Barbie. It reminds me of the Barbie and the Rockers redux they did in 2017 where none of the OG characters were used. :/
OMG Barbie and the Rocker was such a trauma 😅💖 not only was it only released in the US but it was also nothing like what it was, not even a cute nod to the 80s except for the logo they used 🤦🏼♂️

Aww they all have such dead eyes! And it's sad because Kira is my second favorite sculpt (after Steffie). But you took three Totally Zombie Barbies and made them into gorgeous lively magical beings! The hairstyles and clothing and MTM bodies give them their lives back. (Just don't gaze into their eyes; they might make you do bad things!)
Tip for the day get nail accessories for styling nails and you can glue them onto the earrings and then you got like 3D butterflies and stars and glitter and all that to mess with to customize earrings

Arjan this has to be my favourite video yet. I am watching it twice even. So well thought your crazy editing skill and possibly my favourite actual current transformations yet. The dolls definitely had a vacant lack of character to them in their before state. You worked your special kind of magic and they turned out to be my favourite transforms yet. The accuracy in placement of hair colours and your amazing ability to style these colours are second to none. I would have no reason to really care for these three girls until your priceless re-dos. It looks like the designer at Mattel gave us three awesome girls if put into clever and talented hands. You are ready to start lip transformations. I am no expert but it can be done. I always love your makeovers. They always inspire me. You definitely cant compare to the original doll, but if you look at these dolls just on their own, they are really nice. My favorite is blonde Barbie. Thank you for saying where the star corset came from!

I LOVED concept of make-over. Mermaid, Unicorn and Fairy. Adorable. 😍im 90s kid and i will always think that 90s Barbies are best. But after watching that video, i wanna buy blonde one. I love what you did with them! I especially like Fairy Barbie! I didn't like the armor on the 2016 Christmas Barbie but, it looks great on Fairy Barbie. I don't know why they call them totally hair because, there is no comparison with the original. Their hair isn't even as long as the original. Any, your makeovers never disappoint!

I like them but it doesn't compare to the original. I know they used to have a set up where it was Barbie, Ken, Midge, Christie, Teresa and her sisters. I know there was a line named Shani with two other girls and a love interest. There was a name for the Asian coded dolls but I really can't remember it off hand, I think she was mainline at some point with a beach line and the rockers. I really miss the names tbh made me absolutely love the idea of collecting certain characters but it's hard finding Christie.
Regarding them all being Barbie. I think it's because they're trying to make the brand as a whole more inclusive. Barbie is the protagonist, so they don't want to maintain the idea that only the blonde one is Barbie. They're all Barbie and then players decide the rest. So, dark haired or non-white kids don't just see themselves as the sidekicks or friends, but the main character.
I love these girls totally hair!! Soon in 30 years time this 2022 totally hair became a nostalgic franchise remakes include barbie extra these years from 2020 mattel really let loose with all these color scheme

Another great video with amazing looks and transformations, when I saw these I thought really Mattel?! what a let down from the OG which to this day holds the most sold Barbie ever! There is no comparing really, but what got me was the hair even the Barbie Extra dolls have longer hair so why not go with Totally Colourful Hair Barbie or something. Still they are ok for what we get now, the hair quality is questionable specially the crimped hair, we deserve better quality hair. The dolls themselves basic, still the Siren and Unicorn have decent eyes with Millie I simply can't with her Vacant empty gaze, noticed that when I start doing my reroots photography never came out well with most of them, Rainbow Hair Barbie & Barbie Extra N3 were the exception. What this line gives me is a combo of Totally Hair, Hollywood Hair, and Fairy/Mermaid Topia vibes.

I had the same hair style,like this Barbie in 90-th,it was impossible to buy it here(Kyrghyzstan, former Soviet republic),but we(girls) could read some magazines with advertasing of these barbie doll. OMG,it was "fabulous" time.

Thanks! 🥰💖✌🏻 The bodies are from either former make-overs and I buy ones that are in sale 😆 and the rigid ones are going to nieces (with heads ofcourse) or other children that I know and love Barbie ✌🏻🥰
I feel like Mattel could have done more with the Asisn Totally Hair Barbie. She reminds me a bit too much of Jett Dawson from Rainbow High and restyling her to look different from Jett definitely made her look better.
