For the twist braids you need to twist the strands in opposite directions as tight as you can before making the braid, that way it won't unravel afterwards the tension will keep them supporting each other...

I have the 3 original Clueless dolls you Show yes they come with cute stuff. mine are still in box, I just love the original movie and always will!!! I bought some of their fashion packs in the 90's and used the clothes on Barbie of the 90's but the clothes fit the newer less busty Barbies now! All the clueless clothes have held up as well as anything else I bought for Barbie made by Mattel in the 90's
Hi, I Just discovered that this dolls with colorful hair, especially thid one, even though it doesn't feel that soft to the touch, they are delicate with boiling water, try to use hot water instead of boiling water, do it for several times until you get it the way you like it, it's better to have a little more patience and keep their hair the best way possible. The doll looks amazing, I did the same thing and my barbie got the ends of the hair a little damaged.
The socks and shoe combo in the first look was a stroke of genius! Loved the GirlBoss finale too 😍 Was thinking how she might look super-cute in the pink and green Mimi doll outfit (I love pink and green together). i had someone else hold the doll i twist braided and stood back and put and twisted it small as i could figuring it would loosen! hope this helps you! i love your videos and makeovers you're awesome!
I have this doll and my biggest pet peeve is when Barbie has flat feet, she’s Barbie… she’s extra… she deserves heels 👠. This is why I turn more towards collecting older doll’s.. it seemed like the hair was longer and they were just better quality.
Totally agree with you on the trousers, for me it spoils it a bit. Would have loved to have left her in an unopened box but those trousers are… unacceptable…

I finally have this doll, I want soo bad to customize her, I love her makeup but I'm gonna repaint her lips for a shade of purple, and I'm definitely gonna reroot her, I like the hair color but hate it is poly! I'm gonna make her a modern pinup, with echoes of both the first Barbie and the inspiration for her, Bild Lili!

She is actually super pretty ! I never really thought twice about her until you gave her a fabulous makeover. I wished Mattel stopped using that hair fiber. It is just…not fun.
the best results I've had with a twist braid has been when I've used a pressure steamer with a narrow attachment to set the hair in that style,, make it really tight and hold it in place while yu steam and it will loosen a bit once released.. I use this method a lot as I make synthetic dreadlocks,, braids and twists..😊
I learnt to do that type of braid from Kaylee Melissa on RU-vid. On myself obviously, but I'm sure the same principles apply. It's usually called a rope braid if you want to find tutorials. It's kind of hard to explain, but I usually take the two parts, twist them in the same direction as each other (e.g. clockwise), then twist then together the opposite way (in this case counter-clockwise). You can twist the two parts individually first and then together once they're already mostly twisted. Or you can alternate twisting the parts individually and together. Phewh. Not sure that makes sense, but this way they hold the twist without needing additional product or heat.

Do you guys not have the Extra Littles in The Netherlands? The black pants looks great with the skirt/top from the Barbie Extra set that has the wheel and clothing (the one with the Lady Gaga bow hair). You can drape her fur between both elbows. Wish I could show you a pic of mine!

Twist the hair one way as tight as you can and wrap it in the opposite direction as tight as you can. Practice it as often as you can. You’ll get it eventually.🥰
She looks like she'd be best like a mermaid with that long hair. You may not like the type of hair but I know you love that length. Ya can always just put a extra mermaid body that you have around and put her on display.
