For your dryer, check the vent outside. Mine stopped drying and I just thought to check outside. Surprisingly, my vent had a plastic grid cage over it probably to keep critters out, which was impacted with lint. Once I cleaned that out, the dryer went back to drying! Just a thought. ❤

reasons why an LG dryer might not be heating, including: Clogged vent Lint and other debris can build up in the vent over time, restricting airflow. If the vent is clogged, the FlowSense Indicator on the control panel will light up. Blown thermal fuse. look to see if this is happening. it says LG should last 10-15 yrs before replacing.

Four years are short - don´t you think? When I bought my appliances I asked how long I could expect them to work and was told about 10 years. Hopefully they don´t stop working before that. 😅 I hope Robin is able to repair your dryer. They are so expensive - I bought one just a few month ago. 🥴 Hugs to you - my bussy bee friend! 🐝

You can pick tomatoes green and ripen them inside. It can help offload the plant from focusing on fruiting for a bit and work on growing instead. It won't quite be the same, but you will get to enjoy some this way

You need to add lime to your tomato plants to combat the blossom end rot. I had blossom end rot on my tomatoes and that did the trick. Dissolve the lime in water and pour over soil. Since I learned this trick/solution I now actually add the powered lime to the potting mix before I plant my tomato plants and no blossom end rot anymore.

When you mulch with a natural resource like the pine straw you will notice over time how rich your soil becomes. I love working outside. I knew it was going to be in the eighties so I got up really early to get my meditation/journaling time and a thirty minute walk done with my dog.🐩 was gardening before eight. Meant to only stay out for a few hours but worked for six hours.

Hi Karen, I'm sorry I'm commenting after so many days, I just keep forgetting. The worst thing is what I wanted to tell you I'm not even sure if it's related to this one. In one of them you were talking about using tomato puree or something like that. This little 'trick' could also be used with sauces I should think. I buy the puree in tins too. I haven't got any other options. Every time I used some ( usually I only need 1'5/2 teaspoons) I had to end up throwing the rest away. In the end I found a way of not having to. When I open it. I get a few little jars ( you don't have to buy any just reuse any that you've got. Wash them first of course or containers) and put the amount I usually use into each of them, close them and put them in the freezer, you could also use those ice cube molds with a lid. When you need them get them out of the freezer. You don't have to even defrost them. I haven't wasted any more since. You could probably do the same with Robin's sauces . I hope it's helpful Xxx

Lovely relaxing watch today Karen. Your garden is looking lovely, glad you got to spend so much time outside. It was great that your daughters were so appreciative of the rice with beans you cooked for them. It looked very tasty. They are lucky to have you looking out for them in regard to eating sufficiently. Regard the avocado, Btw I have never found any brand of frozen avocado to taste nice at all. It either absorbs smells from the freezer or ends up overly sloppy because it maintains too much moisture when it freezes.

I feed my tomatoes with E.B. Stone plant food or Dr. Earth. It’s good for flowering plants and vegetables.

Karen, it might look really neat to gradually encircle the hammock/pine spill area with rocks! As you were raking the pine spills by the driveway, I thought it would be nice to line the whole winding driveway with rocks, too. But that might be too much or take too many rocks. But the hammock area circled with rocks would make it even more a special place.

I googled root rot. It say too much watering can cause it. There are soil drying techniques and root pruning to help.

Lots of dryers have a fuse. When the fuse goes out they don’t heat. Simple repair for a clever husband.

I read that a dryer should last 10 to 13 years. Also depends on how it is maintained.

Our dryer stopped drying. It wasn't a clogged vent, it was a thermal fuse that my husband replaced for $15. Use Google or RU-vid, Robin is handy, I am sure he can fix it.

Hmmm...I think it's interesting about using the pine needles...Our pine needles are long and pokey....We are encouraged to get them cleaned up for fire mitigation.... They get tangled up in your good bushes and plants and cause a mess...Pine cones, too...This year is a bonanza for pine cones...Driveway is littered with them every day.......I was doing an "Oh nooo", too..A gopher or gophers ate all my varieties of wild sun flowers! Literally stripped them!

I think I told you, but 8 days ago I found Jeff my boyfriend dead, I'm super depressed and having bad thoughts about well, let's just say bad thoughts so I don't get banned or whatever, just know I need prayers in a bad way.
