Spurs under Ange are fast perfecting the art of overloading their opponent. Using the speed of Werner-Son-Johnson to break away and catch the opponents off guard, then having the rest of the mids and defense follow through to overwhelm their target. The opposing side are often left in a daze. The downside is, it's not for the feint of heart. A mistake usually leaves us wide open. VDV with his speed and Vicario with his agility are crucial under Angeball.

Now that was a more well rounded team performance imo. One that didn't rely on Heung Min Son to do all the hard work. Two centre backs on the score sheet. This is what we love -Spurs at home, looking dangerous and playing great football!

He has the ability to dominate that midfield, just needs to know he can and then spend 100 minutes focusing each game… and he’ll be the goat. 1:35 If you can defend that area like this aswell as make the opposition scared of you also ploughing through that area , so therefore having to defend it also… well yeah you are a good midfielder. Really hope he can maintain this type of form, it is hard and even in this game he dipped abit but he’s got it in him. Great player

They’re lunging with the wrong leg. If they lunge with the other leg and keep it straight the ball doesn’t go through. They also turn their backs. Poor technique. When I was playing a million years ago coaches would slaughter us for turning our back or sliding and lunging at the ball with the wrong leg. We never got nutmegged like that. Try it at training and see.

@@charles_preston You’re right, we do seem to have bad luck too. The ball often doesn’t fall our way and sometimes we don’t get clear decisions go our way. Maybe I’m just thinking “old school” due to my age but sometimes it feels like we’ve lost the fundamentals in our game. Our players don’t, on occasions, track back hard enough as you said; sometimes they make basic skill errors. Maybe I expect too much but I hope we keep improving and keep challenging. Cheers

what i really liked about the game was that we made our first two subs exactly at half time, instead of waiting until the hour mark, and that meant that we had those subs ready to go already in the second half and that’s what led to the goals, we should definitely do that more often because look what we can do when that happens (ik it’s only forrest but still) COYS

ooo its a bit annoying to see udogie get beaten on halfway line and then give up running back. also bissouma, defensive mid just sees the whole thing but just lets romero look bad. romero left his man to pick him up but then also we all know poro one on one defending is going to get beat but i dont blame poro. udogie has to do better defensively because he is an amazing talent and also Bissouma really deserved to be subbed. i think Sarr is a superstar but another transfer window bring in a beast no nonsense tackler in defensive mid who ALSO WONT LET OUR GOALKEEPER GET BULLIED ON CORNERS
