Touch'nGo RFID Self-Fitment Kit - how easy is it to install yourself? 

Thing is that, I prefer going to the centre for fitment. Simply because they have device to test the RFID. On top of that, I brought my wife car for full car wash+body wax. They did incredible job and they might have wax (scratch) the RFID sticker. Now my wife stuck behind toll barricade. Lol

Honestly I still prefer Smart Tag due to Myvi having in built Smart Tag reader. It also helps because some parking requires you to use TnG card, which I can pull out of my Smart Tag reader to use.

Been using it for 1 year without failed 👍 for me i prefer to stick my RFID upper left Windshield just above your Roadtax /MCDONALD drive-thru sticker etc etc. (RFID-just little bit above) (Mcdonald drive thru sticker) (Roadtax) (Passenger Seat) (Driver seat) Reminder, Be sure to alway top up your Tng e-wallet la, don't made us always reverse here and there. Second note: RFID rules, keep your distance between 5-10 meter away from car going to RFID lanes to avoid the need to reverse or stuck.

Not sure what people are complaining about. I have had it for months on my headlights and never had any issue. Not even once failed. Its really good. The digital reload and app is great.

Better improve the RFID reader than expanding.

They should use card system so that we can use it with different car. If we sell the car we need to buy new sticker or if we let someone else borrow our car they will use our money to pay toll

I have a question Hafriz. Since the rfid is on your headlight, does it cause a weird shape of the light beam because the light is partially blocked by the pattern of the rfid sticker?

tng now being quite about implementing rfid in plus highway, lots of rfid sign removed from the plus toll... Been using rfid for almost 2 years, I still prefer smarttag, rfid is slow.. That sticker leave a permanent marks on my headlamp while trying to replace it (tukar dkt rfid kiosk).. JUST DON'T STICK IT THERE

RnD ribu2. Come out with simple sticker. Tempek pula kat lampu. Beli kereta dgn headlights cantik2 tapi ada sticker pula kat situ. Mencacatkan. Tu x termasuk sticker tu boleh lingkup bila kena hujan panas, org korek, cuci kereta tertanggal sticker n mcm2 lg. Prefer smart tag lebih selamat dan x mencacatkan kereta

been using this rfid for quite sometime...so far no issue..the sticker still intact..my experience so far it has 98% chance of passing through without the "sila undur" warning..

Some people doesnt understand why other reject this RFID. Let me put some list about what might happen with outside RFiD sticker 1) in the middle of nowhere in Highway, some "good guy" can easily peel off the sticker away > you will in trouble to exit the toll 2) the price is quite expensive for some nitizen yet easily to remove? And buy another just like that? 3) prone to damage due to the wheather or scratch(physical damage). Cats! Watch out!.Ahaa! 4) Friend or foe (thief) can easily use the money inside it. Situation make up "if thief or friend steal your car, you will treat all their toll and lunch before they remove the sticker to disappear. As TnG want to add the features of this rfid to make it not just for toll. Well quite many thing to think off. And the list go on... =D

If the sticker is not advised to be sticked at the path of the wiper, then how about sending the car to car wash? Auto car wash? Normal carwash? Polishing? Also that means, if accident destroying the headlamp then will need to buy new? Or headlamp rosak kena ganti? Or insurance cover? Im looking forward to have a try on the RFID but theres still a lot of questions lingering in my mind.

I ard have an rfid for my condo parking acess in my headlamp, will it be ok for me to stick another rfid for touch and go?

What if people go round destroying the RFID sticker?? Will there be spare sticker available? Wonder why not fit the sticker inside the windscreen instead of outside??

I see the convenience and less of a physical item to care about but going thru RFID and Smarttag gate, the RFID response time is slower literally have to stop for 2 sec before it could detect. Smarttag sensor is much faster and better.

Having your tag exposed outside the car is a failed tag system. Come out with better, 99.9% readable scanner platform next time!

Can it be read if i stick in on a cardboard and stick the whole piece on the inside left of the windscreen? And when not needed, i can keep it safe inside the car. Is that possible?

The centre portion of headlight is the hottest part when the headlights are switched On. Will the RFID get melted or disintegrate after the constant torture by the heat. What happened if it is damaged. Will we be charged to replaced it. How much will it cost? I still prefer myvi built in reader. Most cars should have that features.

I got tng card, smartag & RFID. Masuk tol just pilih mana lane yg clear atau kurang kereta. No komplen rfid tak ok ke, smartag habis bateri ke, tng card tak topup. Jadilah pemandu yg bijak.. for sure your CA$H tak terima kat tol

YES! It is easy to install.. But mine is HARD to detect and REAAAAALLLLLY hard to replace and remove! #ohmyRFID!

Just get rid of the toll barrier. That's it. Simple. As for toll scanner just use rfid chip inside the car. Everytime lalu toll just deduct. No need barrier all. Very kuno already. Need to educate Malaysians on honor system. Need to start building the trust among malaysians

It is clearly a very bad idea to fix the tag (only by sticking) on the outside surface of the windscreen or on headlamps. It will definitely peel off after some time - no matter how strong is the glue. The tag will also not stand the constant abrasion of wind and will subject to attacks of flying sand, stone, acidic bird shit, theft, vandalism..., It will give endless problems after it has been defaced, tainted or scratched. Bad, Bad Bad idea.

Bru prknal dn sesak, Smart Tag, Touch n Go biasa lbh mdh, praktikal..setakat kononnya kupyaan lbh mmpercepatkn itu hnya myth, trbukti melmbatkn, mnimbulkn kbimbangan itu ini.

IF you register your car license plate / phone number with RFID then your travel times can be logged and traced directly back to you. Not so good if you accidentally go over the speed limit for 10 mins on the highway. Expect a LOT of fines to be issued AFTER RFID gets mass take-up.
