This place is insane! It’s a biology museum with a creation exhibit? And random stuff about the Civil War and Bonnie & Clyde? The south is like another planet.
Tee hee those name plates with sayings were cute. Even John Wayne made an appearance. Think that sponge was meant to look like a honeycomb. What a ahhhmazingly large assortment of animals! Their displays are amazing & very lifelike. Yay they had some Possums for you.
This was a great one. What a cool, and jam packed little spot. The founder seems like a really interesting man. My favorite display was the flamingo and the foxes! Pretty cool that they had some libe animals in the back too. The bunny was precious!
keith mooney thanks, I did taxidermy on a rabbit but it doesn’t look good, but I think it looks good, and I also put horns on it to make it look like a jackalope
Me too, I'm trying to expose myself to my fear in hopes to rid myself of the burden from having it. My entire family hunts and has taxidermy so it's important to me to get rid of this fear.
I didnt realize the museum was still open. Sam and lura owned a taxidermy supply company for 50 years I think it was. The one really crazy looking animal was actually created from 14 different animals. I took their taxidermy course and the certificate had that animal on my certificate. It looks awesome. By the way how much was admission??? If you come to Michigan we have an really incredible taxidermy museum. It is the town of gaylord. The name of the museum is named CALL OF THE WILD. This is because lots of the animals there have the sounds of that animal. I went as a kid and it impressed me so much that I wanted to become a taxidermist. (And I did I had a business for almost 30 years)
That Desert Fox is also Known as a Fennec Fox. Some people keep them as pets and post videos of them on RU-vid. They are so adorable. I recommend checking out the Channel “Lucy the Fennec Fox” if you wanna see some adorable Fennec Fun. They aren’t paying me. I just recommend.
Jacob, Mr. Bagger could you please see what happened to the old taxidermy from the Pink Palace museum. It was lovey collection and a childhood memory. Thank you. C from the little haunted cottage in Ireland 🍀🍀🍀👻👻👻
J keeps talking about the mongoose & snake. All I can think about is an old animated movie called " Riki Tiki Tavi" gotta go find IT now! Lol! Thanx for the video J, again!
Taxidermy with captions! I think all taxidermy should have those. Brilliant. I also appreciate their responsible method of getting their animals. Kind of curious what creationism and the Rapture have to do with taxidermy though...odd.
This is something to see, but the world's greatest taxidermy museum is the International Wildlife Museum in Tucson, Arizona! Would love to see you go there. It's one of the most beautiful museums I've ever seen.
There’s so much cool stuff to do in Louisiana while eating really good food. This museum was beyond amazing . I have never seen a lot of these animals taxidermied before. You never disappoint Jacob . I want to see you eat some gator while you are there. Good protein 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Someone has a sense of humour too. Like that. Good to know where ths animals come from too. Often wondered about that. Great museum. Keep Safe❤Keep Well❤
My great grandad was responsible for the death of this elephant, apparently it went crazy at a zoo & sadly was shot by my crazy granda ...I cant believe they dont tell the full history ...It would make an interesting read as it was my grandfather who gutted the elephant. ❤🏴🙏
people who write FIRST annoy me but Im more than happy to click the thumbs up to be the 1 thousandth like!!! woohoo 1k likes! that's a first for me at least. My like actually meant something ;)! Going on 5 weeks of watchin your vids with my wife, jacob.... we've rewatched a lot but Im genuinely enjoying every video everytime I watch them :D!... even the "Debunking Orbs" vid. That one was a really good idea cuz theres so much hype around something so simply explained.....its silly.
16:26 Dude, you better thank your lucky stars he’d lost his antlers and there was a fence between you and him. When a deer pins his ears back at you, you better back off REAL REAL FAST because he’s saying “I’m gonna kill you!” No joke.
I wuz just chillin doing some research just for fun and I stumbled upon yer videos. I must say,, I love your personality. You are existing magnificently, keep it up!!❤️❤️
Please come to the Heritage Center Museum, there's another one next door called Forest World and Okefokee Swamp Park and Obediah's Okefenoke Museums and paris witt taxidermy, live animals and tons of history. in Waycross, GA. They're all awesome!
I’m sorry…I don’t want to be “that guy”, and feel free to ignore me, but I can’t be the only one who thinks the stuff about creation feels a liiiittle out of place in a museum that teaches about wildlife. Right? No? Just me? Ok I apologize. Carry on.
Yeah, from Shreveport originally. Haven't been to that museum in forever, thanks for the memories. Wish the Shreveport museum had better upkeep. Lots of dioramas, back in the day they had a live alligator that lived in the courtyard. Made for fun school field trips.
Love ya taxidermied visits .. but how come ya stopped ya hisss noises they were funny as esp when ya werent expecting it :D bring back the HISS please haha Love ya vids :D
Awesome! However i love monkeys and wanted to see them all up close. Look like their might have been a Capuchin in their. We r getting one in the future💖💖💖💖
Fantastic museum Jacob, this kind of video is the reason why I subscribe, this was excellent, just what I like to see. Beautiful animals, amazing displays, really enjoyed it. 😊 😊 😊 👍 👍 👍
I actually recall going here with my mother as a kid. I lived very close to it growing up. So seeing it at first I was surprised to notice it was the same place and that it's still around!
You must have been in hog heaven there. 😁💗 Your color is better and I can hear you're not as congested as before. Thanks for another great video and I hope you're feeling better, Jacob.
Not to sound like the bleeding heart animal lover I am, but I was relieved to find out the animals weren't purposely killed to be put on display, but passed away from natural causes and donated. Go Touchstone!
