Well now, this was one hell of a 2hu week indeed, everything is absolutely AMAZING! (but has it ever *not* been?) also, for the next Touhou week, can we get a cover of A Pair of Divine Beasts, Pure Furies, or Gensokyo Millenium? I feel like those would sound great covered by you.
Touhou is kinda built upon topping the original, tho... Like, literally; ZUN is a great character designer, but a sub-par artist, so he inspires fanart that make his character designs justice; the plots of the games and the official manga is more dedicated to world building and instoducing new characters; the characters themselves have a lot of potential for exploration, but ZUN refuses to answer the questions surrounding his characters himself, instead letting doujin manga and fanfiction explore the possibilities for him; and even the music, though defenitely not bad, is produced with dinky synth sounds and never have any lyrics, though they're composed almost like karaoke music so you can hear where you should add the lyrics... and all of this, in addition to ZUN's attitude being that if you feel you can draw his characters better than him, play his music better than him, or create Touhou games better than his own, then you should go right ahead and do so instead of just saying that you can do better than him, is how ZUN created the biggest and most creative doujin/indie community in the world.
