yeah, so on a random impulse, i decided to cover bad apple...
Since Bad Apple is such an important song within the Touhou community, I put more effort into this one than usual. Hopefully it shows. I knew while making this that there would be a lot of pressure to make a "good" Bad Apple cover, so I kinda just threw together any idea that popped into my head without worrying if it was good or not (which was quite the challenge tbh). I guess this is the end result. Sounds clustered and all over the place, but I guess that's kind of my style anyway.
Also, the vocals were AI generated using NEUTRINO. It sounds really heckin cool.

the vocals are kinda iconic too, i guess, and they are by no means badly implemented... but i gotta admit, I'd love a full instrumental version, with some strong lead guitar and a lot of sweet sweet base. Great version though

Absolute treat my dude, holy shiznit. Making a Bad Apple cover is hard, but not as hard as making a Bad Apple cover that sounds fresh and unique. I would have made the calm parts even just a bit more quiet to give you more playing room with the volume, and the drums went a wee lil bit too hard once or twice but other than that there's a lot of gud shit to unpack, like how good the lead guitar sounds, what the piano does while it's not taking the lead, I think(?!) I even heard some jazz organ in there, how the first calm part has a bit of a Electro House vibe, the Square Lead (my E-Piano says the chiptune sounding instrument is called that idk lmao) and of course the references to the original from Touhou 4. Making Bad Apple in 2022 and being fresh at the same time is hard dude but here we are. Good shit, homie.

I love it when remixes of the vocal version reference the parts that are exclusive to the LLS version. I like both the LLS and vocal versions, so combining them in any way gets me so hype, lol. Cheers!

So many references, and they fit so well! Symphonic metal seems to be the ideal genre for instilling the dramatic and epic; the intro and interlude were especially awing. I'm also extremely impressed with the vocals; I'm not used to AI generated sounding so clean (fairly recent software?). That being said, I'd be interested in hearing an instrumental version, too.

extraordinary; the touhou/bad apple fan community may have some of the most-focused talent pool i have ever come across. it somehow wouldn't have surprised me if you said the entire video/track was composed and rendered using a potato and radiation-generated random noise connected to a recording device. subbed to give the algo a hint and follow along with the other masterpieces you put out :)

A cover of a cover :) the vocals don’t seem really smooth tho (what I mean is this is a cover of the remixed version of bad apple, which is the more popular version, from 2008, while the original is from touhou 4, lotus land story from 1998, but in my opinion sleeping terror is better, yuuka’s theme from touhou 4 also)

They actually mixed it in with the LLS version in parts, listen closely, especially in parts like 1:39, and when the first vocals repeated, they sounded like the og bad apple.
