my head canon that Sannyo is Yorihime disgraced trying to fend off Clownpiece since LoLK and unable to return home so she had to mind control herself in order to fit herself into Gensokyo.. Take a few pages from Marisa's Mannerisms since it was her who taught her about danmaku and spellcards in SSiB and intel from the Scouts: Seiran and Ringo during LoLK events..
