Marisa can't even look Mima in the eyes because she abandoned her in the transition between TH3 and TH4 and hasn't thought about her in 2 decades. You just can't recover personal interaction from that. Also, Yuuka, that is not a victory for you. You are legit as relevant as the unnamed TH6 minibosses these days, you are not even the star of your own returngame anymore, Eiki is the character people think about when they think about TH9.

Isn't Alice also in a coma right now if you keep up with the Touhou printed works? It's like Alice and Yuuka got to return, but they wished on a monkey's paw to do that.

@@foppypoof5195 Tbf, many people say Alice got the short end of the stick, but it vaguely makes sense in the story. The whole idea is that the antagonist goes through the people having caused incidents in the past(minus 7.5 for some reason, watermelon was just forgorren). Both Yukari and Alice seem to have contibuted to the night stopping in TH8, so they caused an incident, even if it was a beneficial one. And both were getting got.

Mima is the only recurring playable PC-98 character to not have come back to a Windows game yet.

There are as many versions of Mima as there are PC-98 games(TH4 got its Mima on the OST release-cover), which is replicated by no other character...except Reimu.
