In Grief is where I’ve learned the most about myself and God’s grace

Awesome.. my mom was murdered when I was in the 5th grade and been living on my on since the 10th grade. Now that I'm 53 and look back....omg. I'm just excited to see the support that's available now that didn't exist when my sisters and I fell through the cracks of life. I'm thankful God had his hand in it the whole time 🙏

This testimony was heartfelt. Last year in a 6 week period I lost 6 people. As a leader of a ministry at my church, it was impossible. I sought prayer from someone who covered me. In chapter 7 of Balance, your ability to go into conserving your energy is crucial for our repair processes. Catch your breath, delegate what you can, meditate, seek counsel and trust God's knowledge of your internal compass to steer you back to Balance. This is so on time for me. I recently lost my dad 2 weeks ago. If it wasn’t for prayer and support I don’t know how strong I’d be at this moment. It’s a huge loss. I empathize with the guest because I too consider the milestones he won’t be here for. God renews strength and fills not only the earth but our emptiness we may feel in these moments. God bless you. My condolences Dee Dee. I can't imagine what you've been dealing with. I've only lost one of my parents two years now actually and I still feel hopeless on some days.

Thank you so much for your transparency. I recently lost my mom on 1/22/22, and my brother 10 days later, 2/1/22. The pain is sooooo much to bear, so I totally understand. I can't even begin to explain the deep, piercing, excruciating hurt. So my prayers to you and your family.

I have learned a lot through the loss of my husband last year it has been hard and I still have a ways to go but I'm having to do so many things differently I have been taking it one day at a time but I know that God has me and my kids

This really blessed me loss my last surviving parent to covid19 my Mother my father passed when I was 15. I am so devasted but without God I don't know where I would be my days are up and down. This was a hard blow for our family she was the glue. Thank you so much for sharing.

I would like to Thank You for this video and that you let us in such a personal area of grief Ms Dee Dee, shedding light on this challenging area. Two weeks ago I lost my sister and it has been extremely painful., at times I'm just numb. As for many who have lost a love one, there were many things leading up to her passing that I and my other 2 sisters were dealing with and still even now are attempting to process. But the one thing I will say, is that through all of it, I am finding out even more how vital it is to fully trust God, and even in areas I may not understand the why's. To know He is walking with me, He loves me, taking care of me & my family & carries us...literally at times when I can't carry myself, JESUS CARRIES US. I see His Glory regarding so many of the details of Zela's personal affairs, be it she lived in NICE France and we have to abide by their policies and procedures of her passing away there, which are entirely different than the States, BUT God is in the midst, seeing His hand at work over and over again. Staying prayerful is a crucial connection to God & how he comforts us, and is there like no one else can be, No Doubt. I do believe that in all of this it has brought to my attention a prayer that I prayed awhile back, that I wanted to know what it meant that God is all I need. At times like this of such deep grief He is the only 1 who can lighten, heal & deliver us to ultimate freedom. Rev 12:11 states & I declare, And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. Praise be to God Thank You Jesus!!!

This resonated with me so deeply. I truly thank her for her vulnerability and raw truth. My father is gravely ill and about to seek medical attention in another country very soon and the same question of, “will my father come back, will he walk me down the aisle” came across my mind just yesterday. As I prepare for my wedding I can’t help but feel like I may never see him again and to be in this place of limbo between the happiness of this new chapter and the solemn possibility of having to do it all without my dad is harrowing, but I found strength and peace in her words today! Thank you!

I am bouncing, I don't know if it is back but it is back and forth. I have a son in prison he is 22. As I listen to your podcast I see , myself in every part of your conversation. I am a Christian and I can pray. But right now u don't know I am stock. I raised five kids I have been considered strong but I don't know even my strength is failing me. It the blow seem not to stop. It is just one after another.

I appreciate this conversation is happening on behalf of the book Balance. However, since I do not like previews, and I believe in the calling on this man and Sarah’s life, I do not need prompting. I’m already pre-ordered and I can’t wait! I’ll not watch these type conversations because I don’t want to “spoil” my personal experience with the book itself. This is where I break ties with these pastors. While the goal is to help her through this pain . Is it True to tell her , that her dad would be a witness in anything she’s doing on EARTH ? 😢😢 The dead knows NOTHING- Ecclesiastes 9:5 they are not here anymore. They cannot witness anything or show up . This is how we start to mix physic beliefs and Mediums who said they can talk to Our families. A pastor should say something like . I believe he’s resting until the day of Judgement . However God is now YOUR FATHER . He lent you to your parents and now he decided to take you the rest of the way . Keep trusting him , He still have plans for you and he loves you like No other parent could . What Greater love had any man had that he would lay down his life FOR YOU . ❤

Pastor, it feels a little disingenuous to keep plugging in the title of your book as you're having this conversation with a hurting woman. We heard the first time you wrote the book and many of us are excited about that. Mentioning it repeatedly throughout the conversation makes this feel like an ego stroke with Dee Dee as a backdrop. 🤷‍♀️
