Not a huge fan of how jacked up these lofts are. I would need to carry 3 or more wedges on the bottom end of the bag. If you could get these around 400 then they would be a competitor to Takomo but, at nearly 700...no dice.
Lol elevate 95 MPH. M is for Maximum, P is for peak, and H ks for Height. I like that you are putting effort for review products, but if you are gonna do so, please learn what you are talking about first so you dont look dumb. 😂 You said Miles Per Hour hahahahhahahaha Mr. I'm notpart of the beginner crowd lol
Yeah I definitely won't pretend like I know shafts. Something I'm trying to slowly but surely learn. However, I will definitely make the argument but there are plenty of advanced players that don't know shafts. I work with three professionals at my work, and two out of the three couldn't tell me the differences between the shaft options when I was going to order these. So I don't think skill level has anything to do with knowledge of shafts. A lot of people just go and get fitted and don't care. I appreciate the information.
Thanks for the review. I also saw these on MGS and was very curious how an relatively unknown brand came first in their GI irons review for 2024 (the E723 were actually released early 2023). I currently have the Callaway Paradym X irons. Do you think these E723's are better/worth changing for (I'm a 20hcp)?
No I would stick with what you have. I just don't think you'll see a good enough difference. I've actually hit those paradigm irons before and I think they're fantastic. I like the feel a lot better
I had a C722 Hybrid and liked it. Tour Edge snubbed my guy Mistah Short Hitter though. They're a good option for a lot of golfers but I'd never use them again.
I think they are more geared towards beginners or much older golfers. Great review! You should test some demo clubs like Sub 70 has and some other DTC clubs that do this program. I think Dicks/Golf Galaxy do it for big brands.
That's definitely something I'm looking into. I would love the opportunity to demo more clubs. Hopefully once the brand continues to take off the golf club manufacturers will take me a little more seriously
The mat was a gift so I don't know that. However I will say it was bought on Amazon I think it was around $60. It's lasted me a long time though. The net I'm not too fond of. I think we got it on Amazon for like $70. I can definitely say you get what you pay for. The last night I had lasted 2 years this one's looking like it might not even last one
Thanks for the review. I’ve had a little experience with Tour Edge and have been quite impressed as I’ve gotten to know them better. A couple key things for your subscribers. All their products come with a lifetime warranty. They have two series of clubs, their Exotics and Hot Launch (value line). The Exotics actually have two sub-series the C (Competitive line) and E (Game improvement line) which you reviewed. If you want to shape your shots, look at the C line of the Exotics. Because they’re Direct To Consumer they have a 30 day money back guarantee, no questions asked and shipping is included. With the clubs that are returned under the 30 day trial, they inspect them, repair if needed and then offer them for sale in their Certified Pre-Owned at substantial discounts (but not customizable as the brand new ones.). The Certified Pre-Owned come with the same 30 day trial return policy and lifetime warranty. I can’t think of another club company that lets you hit them for 30 days to determine if they’re right for you and if not, they’ll take’em back no questions asked. That’s customer service and confidence in their products
Really good info here. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this. Honestly I've just gained so much respect for them. Customer service really separates businesses nowadays. I feel like more than ever. Offering a lifetime warranty as well as a 30-day trial. While also having lower prices is sure to get you in the game and reserve your seat at the table with the big boys. I will definitely be cheering for tour edge from going forward
He must have a pretty fast swing speed. My 7-iron is usually around 82 mph. I'd say your driver is probably around the 105 to 110 Mark if I had to guess. 34° is definitely traditional. Honestly I'm kind of missing that type of loft. These companies are making them so heavy lofted
@GolfBallAddict I can't hit the GI irons. I'm a 25ish handicap, I just started in April and tried 3 different GI irons and just hit low stingers or low hooks with everything. I got t100 players irons to test at a shop and was hitting 170-180 and had less than 10 yards of dispersion. Nice high trajectory with a slight draw. Dropped 10 strokes my first 2 times playing and average 50-53 thru 9 currently. Not great but improving. I swing my driver around 100-105 on average but I've reached as high as 112mph And over 300 yards of distance. My PB drives are 338yds and 307yds. I can't be consistent at that speed so I don't swing a full swing anymore. Now that I've toned it back to the low 100s I'm around 260-265 with a nice straight trajectory and alot more consistent.
@@VG-913 im pretty much the same in every area you’ve mentioned and been golfing for about 5 months. Did a quick fitting at dicks sporting goods and ended up adding 3/4” to my shafts and +2 lie angle and it turned my push into a straighter baby draw and hit pure shots way more often than I was. I’ve slowed my 7i swing down from 91-92 to 88-89 and gained a bit of distance just due to hitting center of the club face and having a more efficient ball flight. Literally blew my mind how much of a difference it made
It's hit and miss. I do enjoy looking at their stuff just because I think they are better at other publications when it comes to being bought, but you don't create the empire you do on donations alone. Sometimes I'm left shaking my head and some of the things I see
@@GolfBallAddict I was baffled recently by MyGolfSpy and a golf ball list. They had Kirkland as one of the best Value balls and then I click on their recent review and they gave it a score of 45 and recommended people stay away from them. 🤷♂️. It’s only good that we have GBA to get the real reviews!
I’m shocked to see a Tour Edge review here. My bag is completely Tour Edge from driver to putter. I used to play the E721 irons and loved them! However after a while I started to feel like my numbers should be better. So I went and got a set of C722 irons, which are more traditional irons, and man are they awesome. My ball speed and distance went up despite the traditional lofts and the feeling is butter. I’m currently selling my old set of E721 irons (6 - P, A, and G) along with another set of C722 irons (6 - P) if you are interested.
Honestly it's a pretty darn good value. I know their drivers aren't quite as long as others, but it half the price it makes sense to get at least 85 to 90% of the production
Fantastic video. I play Mizuno 923 pro. Mizuno is hard to get away from. These clubs would great beginner set for sure!! Your swing is looking great! Keep practicing
