They’re an airline based in the UAE, a country which still uses the Kafala system to exploit its migrant workers. Did you expect anything else from them?
It’s actually the next gen reverse herringbone seats called the Collin’s elements. The ones on the this a350 is the previous gen Collin’s elevation and with the new gen seat, apparently it offers more space as the seat model is the same as starlux a350
I love this but why is every airline introducing the 787 with 3-3-3 layouts, just do 2-4-2 there’s 1 less middle seat it’s it’s more confident especially for families
There's something about Etihad I don't understand - why are the seats so short? There's no backrest behind the head, if you are a well-built person. Other than this, I think they are a good airline.
This cabin should have introduced into service since 3Q.2023. Now, it doesn't "leading the way" because several airlines offer equal or better hard products. Etihad has been decreasing theirselves since 2018.
9 across in a plane originally designed for 8 across makes Etihad's coach as bad as all the other airlines that chose to densify coach cabin with narrower seats. No reason to choose them over another airline.
Try changing a middle name on your booking… $100 thanks for coming. Their planes are better but their customer service outside of the flight is terrible!
They are a similar size of the Etihad A350 Business Suites, about 17.3 inches compared to the 18.5 inch screen on the A350. But since this seat is actually a different newer seat model than the A350 (Collins Elements on the 787 and Collins Elevation on the A350), the screen size looks ridiculously small compared to the potential 24 inch 4k screen we see on Starlux which uses the same seat model as what is shown here. I guess is just for product commonality
Awesome more seats narrower than a domestic A320. They are miles behind emirates. Flew they dilapidated 777s and then into the A380 it’s worlds apart. 787 is not the product they need to reclaim their customers
For Etihad to improve ...they Need to first grow from the obsession with European people and CEOs...get an Asian CEO who understands culture and is 10x more innovative.
