My interesting fact is, the toothbrush was invented in Scotland, because if it had been invented anywhere else, it would have been called a teethbrush.
Best part about Scotland is how rural much of it is. I love the empty countryside you can take walks in and have an amazing view of the landscape. If someone reading this comment plans to visit Scotland, visit the countryside and not just the crowded tourist destinations. You won't regret it.
When i came to scotland, I thought Wayne was a popular scottish name. Used to hear parents say "look at the Waynes"...."thats my Wayne back at school". Took me a while to figure out.
For anyone wondering, a waine is a child. Also hilarious because I was the same for the longest, plus one time I was around 8 Yr old i was sick and called a "poer wee sowel" by the shopkeeper when he found out. Didnt know what he meant for the longest time. Poor little soul is what he said 😂
Scotland, the Firth of Forth, was the greenest place I’ve ever seen. So many different greens. I took pictures and videos but they didn’t do it justice. I was so excited about being in Edinburgh that, while walking down Main Street, I’d tell all the old women with their stockings rolled down into their clodhoppers HELLO, shocking them into crossing the street. The nerve of that strange female talking to me!! I wish I’d had more time to explore where my family comes from.
You could fit EVERY person on earth standing shoulder to shoulder in a square 22 miles on each side…or 440 square miles. Give 600 square miles and you’ll be sitting down comfortably with some room around you for your bag. To go back to Scotland, if they were on the Isle of Skye there’d be even more room than that.
I went to Inverness with work and decided to get the bus down to the loch early that morning I had eaten at a buffet in the hotel needless to say as the day went on the buffet began to take effect I couldn’t find a public ❤toilet and settled for a bush by the loch as my stomach gave way to panic and pain I did explosive diarrhea and screamed out in agony an American couple were near by and the lady said did you hear that it sounded like a dinosaur growling could it be the Loch Ness monster !!!!
No it doesn't, the "Scotti" was a term used by the romans to describe all the celts of Ireland, some of which later emigrated to Scotland long after the romans were gone, there was no tribe called the Scotti.i
that applies to WAAYYYY over half of any bodies of water in the world. i know you are trying to make scotland cool with soundbytes but why do you have to be so ignorant about it? there are WWAYYYY more impressive ways to do that! iLOVE scotland. why make it way more lame than it is?
You do realise its connected to a network of other lochs and exist via the river Ness into the Beauly Firth and out into the Moray Firth and eventuslly out to the North Sea. Its not a pond.
